My name is Andrea and I attend Iglesia Pentecostal La Luz del Mundo, which translates to Pentecostal Church Light of the World. My favorite Scripture is Romans 8:37.

Is your church named after Julio Iglesias? If you are American, why is the name of your church given in some Latinesque form of gibberish? Was the sign maker painting in tongues?

When I was a child, one of my aunts took me to a Pentecostal service without telling me (or my parents) this was where we were going. She said she wanted me to see the Holy Spirit at work, and claimed the Godly Independent Baptist Church my family attended was boring because we remained seated during the service and listened in silence to our Pastor.

Well, let me tell you, I saw a spirit at work but it was far from holy. People were writhing around on the floor, others were wailing like they had suffered a stroke, and I found the whole ordeal to be highly traumatic. I curse her to this day for exposing me to that Satanic orgy of chaos.

Nice to meet with another true christian on here. Please be warned whatever you write on here, it will be "pulled to pieces" by those who claim to be so called Christians. I shall await this post being changed from what I have said. I have been accused of alsorts of things on here, so be warned. I live in England and attend a Evangelical church.

Your very contradictory Mary....your last sentence to Andrea "Also I find if I pray for something, if it is the Lord's will, I need only faith to see it come to fruition" When I quoted the same sentence on the forum regarding my lack of height, I was told I did not have enough faith, and that I was evil. How come there is one rule for you and another for others. I truly believe it is God's Will that I should be the way I am to minister amongst people with alsorts of physical problems.

Also, it's not that no man will take me, it's that am not looking for a man. I have my job, I rent out a place to live, I make it through on less than y'all would give your animals. I don't have time to be bothered with any relationshil.

There is one rule - fear and obey (Ecclesiastes 12:13). If you don't fear God, and if you don't obey His commands, then how can you expect any prayers to be answered? God doesn't listen to the prayers of sinners.

I agree with you Andy, its God's will that everyone gets married, sometimes he finds other work for you to do, or the right person just does not appear to be around. Neither of my sons are with anyone at present. One works in the pentecostal church like you for the Lord, the other is a Samaritan, I assume you have Samaritans in your country. He works unsociable hours voluntarily taking calls from people in distress with various problems. Marriage is not for everyone.
