You can not live with him until you are married. Find a girlfriend with whom you can stay temporarily if you must, but do NOT live with him. His approval of pastels for your bedroom does make me wonder if he's preparing the bed chamber for the next occupant, which is likely his "friend," his bromance.
I admire your enthusiasm and I just know Jesus has a man in mind for you, but as I prayed, the Holy Spirit told me this one is not he. Tell me, what sort of music does he like? Does he know any of the songs from My Fair Lady, Cats, or Rent? When Justin Bieber appears on TV, does he refuse to move from the sofa?
Jesus will pick a man for you that only loves Christian music, is a Republican, and would not entertain the idea of living with you until the pastor says "I now pronounce you..."
