Hello. I am Paul
I go to Revelation Full Gospel Baptist Church
My favorite bible verse is John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out."
I found Jesus only a few years ago when my mother was tragically taken from me by cancer. I didn't deal with her death well and my father began drinking heavily and became abusive. I ran away from home and luckily was welcomed into the Baptist Church. I now live on my own in LA and go to the Church regularly.

Welcome to God's favorite forum, Paul!

The fact that your mother died is a compelling reason to believe in a six-day Creation 6,000 years ago, a global Flood, talking animals, the Son of God, and the resurrection of the dead, as described in a compilation of ancient books written by primitive desert-dwellers. What effect does sharing your testimony have on others? Do they also find your mother's death a compelling reason to believe in all these things?

Anyway, tell us more about yourself. Do you own a help meet? How many sons have issued from your loins?

Were you here, I would hug you in a Christian-like manner and grieve with you over the loss of your adoring mother. How long has she been sleeping in peace? My prayers are with you as you seek to restore the void she no doubt left in your life.

Let me assure you that my brother in Christ, Zechariah, is perhaps one of the friendliest Baptist men you'll ever meet. His words, however, are spoken in a spirit of Christian straightforwardlikenessship, which GOD smiles upon.

Like many things in the Los Angeles area, the possibility that your church has been liberalized is very real. When men dilute the wine of the Word, it isn't worth the urine that will later flow from their bodies. We believe in full bodied wine, with the scriptures of the King James 1611 providing us with Holy Ghost-inspired pathways to the Prince of Peace. Are you wealthy?

What a sweet little pet your avatar displays. When was it run over? (Alternatively, if that photo is you, I must ask: Why? Reconstructive surgeons are a dime a dozen in that hell-hole you call home).

So, friend, take down your guard. We are here to pray with you, to counsel you, and to help you through the loss of the bitch that whelped you. All you need to do is trust in us. Jesus does - and so can you.

As you struggle through mother's death, remember: she is not gone - she is just away. When a mother leaves this earth, Christ's own mother meets her at the gates of glory, determines if she is saved, and if not, kicks her to the pits of hell. But if she is washed in the blood, Mary points the way to the street where a mansion has been prepared just for that mother, decorated exactly as she would want it. No more sorrow, no more pain, no more having to endure the grunts of her husband as he uses her. Christ Himself visits daily (and inspects the plumbing, electrical, etc for defects, fixing them instantly).

You'll notice that I am a typical woman, prone to going on and on; as a man I am sure I have already caused you to lose interest. I hope, however, that you will fellowship with us.

When you take one step toward the Lord, He will take two steps toward you.
