    Everything comes to those that wait

    And,oh boy, have I been waiting ?

    To find a place such a this. I cannot believe it took so long. But the lord does move in mysterious ways eh?

    I have a catholic mother & a muslim father (though he does like a bacon sandwich every now and then) so have been very confused and ....er....lost for most of my sorry existence.

    I don't currently go to church. Though I do miss the singing.

    My favourite Bible passage is Judges 11:29-39.....you know the story of Jephthah, who after god made helped him smite his enemies he burnt his daughter as a way of saying thank you.

    True Faith if ever I saw it.

    If god would help me smite my enemies I would do the same. If I had a daughter that is. I do have a Jack Russell tho. And alot of enemies.

    And favourite is not spelt favorite.

    Some fluffy bunny "christians" claim that Jephthah did not in fact burn his daughter, and give the last verse in that chapter as "evidence" or whatever:

    (Judges 11:40) "That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.

    (Why did you cut that verse off?)

    Notice it doesn't say they visit her, it says they lament her. Biiiiiiig difference.

        Son, you've got some work to do before any smiting is done on your behalf.

        Before you take on the role of spelling police, please as least show some respect and capitalize "Lord" and "God."

        To recap: You have a "miserable existence"; your heathen parents gave you no guidance and will burn in hell; you don't attend church; and worst of all you blaspheme by trying to bargain with God to smite your enemies. Matthew 4:7: Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

            I am from the UK but split my time between there and the heathen backwater known as Thailand.

            A Godless country it is too. Idol worshiping animists the lot of them. They remind me of Catholics in many ways, except they smile more.

            I am however heaven bent on conversion and carry a Bible with at all times so I can quote the Lords words at every opportunity.

            No, I am not married, though I think I may choose a (converted) Thai woman.

            They know how to treat a man.

            This very morning my breakfast was made on time by my concubine. My clothes washed and ironed. She is currently sweeping the floor around me as I write this. She is of to work soon, but will pop back to microwave my lunch for me. She also cuts my toe and finger nails. It's very refreshing.

            Though I'm yet to try this myself, It is possible to beat your woman with impunity. The police here will not get involved with domestics. They understand how *** potty language ***crazy these Thai woman can be so do not get involved. I see and hear of many women who have been disciplined on a daily basis.

            Again, very refreshing.

            No sons I'm afraid. I will let the Lord decide when the time is right. I think my seed may be defective though.

                  Who was Paul addressing when he said that? I'm pretty sure there were no Christian chinamen in Galatia at the time.

                      Mr. Sinner, I have the same question as Mr. Smyth. Why would you want to marry a wretched heathen when there are plenty of Western women you could break in?
