    Shalom, Friends

    Good Sunday to you all:

My name is Morton (please don't call me Morty) Weinstein. While I hail from the progressive and modern city of South Bend, Indiana, I am currently a student at the Borns Jewish Studies program at Indiana University in Bloomington. My parents, Sam and Sheila, would cut me off from inheriting the clothing store if they knew I was posting here but I have recently begun studying the King James Bible just to see what your new testament is all about and I find your claim that Jesus was Messiah to be interesting.

When I am not volunteering at the Helene Simon Hillel Center, I enjoy reading, going to temple, and spending time with my best friend, Malachi Stern. He is another volunteer at the Center and oy the jokes he tells. Such wit from one person.

My favorite verse comes from the book of the prophet Ezekiel chapter 20, verses 19 and 20. I attend Congregation Beth Shalom or sometimes the Jewish Student Center if I am too lazy to make the walk to Temple.

I will enjoy your friendship and learning more about why you think Jesus is who my people have been seeking these many years. It is bashert that I should find you. Like my dear mama says, ask about the neighbors, then buy the house.

Welcome Morton! You did not say how old you were and if you are married or not. How much of the New Testament have you read?

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am 19 and have studied the new testament books of Matthew, Hebrews, and John mostly. And are you a married woman?

My friend Malachi says hello as he is here trying to crack me up with his jokes. I am threatening to tell Rabbi about his foul tongue that he uses on me to get me laughing.

Morton, I was not flirting by asking if you were married or not. That is a standard question on this forum. I am happily married with two sons.

So, are you planning on being a doctor or a lawyer? Oh that's right! You mentioned a clothing store. Sorry, forgot.

So what are your thoughts about the New Testament books you've read?
Peace to you and your husband. While I am a student I do not pay much attention to girls for papa has spent much on my education and mama wants a say in who is finally the "one." As for a future career, I want to own my father's business one day but that is only to make some money on the side. I want to do something in finance or accounting.

I think your idea of everyone being born with sin is a bit odd; there really is no concept of original sin in Judaism. This is primarily something that St. Augustine began. I think we can choose to sin but G_d's wrath and fury are to be shunned so we are to avoid sin at all costs. The Catholic saints do not seem compatible with your church from what I see here.

What does your husband do? Do you have children? Have you been to a Jewish temple? You should go just for the experience. We do not bite.

Dr. Niles: I am here to learn more about why you think Jesus is Messiah since this is not how I was raised. Was it not Romans that killed Christ? I admit some ignorance about it but if it was a Jewish act I do say I am sorry even though it was not me I do not like animosity and want to break the chain if it is in my power. I don't believe you are accepting of my visit to your forum but I hope to change your opinion of me. I am only trying to explore and find truths. There is a saying that a man who judges too quickly usually finds fault too easily. I am here in friendship, not to judge at all.

Jesus Himself tells us in the Bible that He and God are one.

John 10:30-31 I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Then you fellas got all full of hatred and spite and killed Him.

                  Hello Morton!

I think it would be awful to get the Jewish point of view on matters discussed here.

Tell your curly-haired friends in the tiny party hats to stop seeking. If you study the New Testament a little more closely, you'll learn that the yids found Jesus and promptly handed Him over to the Romans and got them to do the dirty work.

Don't get us wrong here Morton, we're behind the joos because of prophecy in the Bible (KJV1611) and Armageddon, the end times, and the return of Jesus. It's especially important that we collaborate these days considering we have the mooselimb Obama in the White House.

Indiana University in Bloomington supposedly has a good music school. Maybe you should look into taking up music Morton. We could use some more good Christian music, and the joos seem to do a good job at it once they put their noses to the grindstone. Nothing quite beats Irving Berlin's "Easter Parade" and "White Christmas" when it comes to good Christian tune-smithing.

This is definitely something to consider, Morton. If you play your cards right, you could even stand amongst the 144,000 (Revelation 7:2-8) who will turn away from Christ-denial during the great tribulation. We True Christians™ will have already been raptured by then, so it will be up to the 144,000 to spread Christ's teachings during the last days.

Please play close attention to our example of righteousness while you still can, since we expect to be raptured any day now.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
