Morton, I'll tell you this: Question 1: What is a sin? Answer: The conscious decision against God. Question 2: Is homosexuality a sin? Answer: no. Not if you take the biblical authors to scale, deals with the origin of words and the context of a passage. Since it is clear that the writers of the OT, as Paul in the New Testament, of pederasts and their catamites spoke. Luther had Paul translated correctly. However, he was wrong, as far as Leviticus. Thank you for your kind invitation , but I'm a Methodist . I know some nice people in the Catholic Church , but also some self-righteous idiots. And I know the Old Catholic church , in which women can receive the priesthood , just as it was in the early Church .
With the RCC I have some problems . Not only because of the many cases of child sexual abuse, but mainly because of the hypocrisy in it. Priest may not marry , but as long as nothing is publicly known, it is tolerated . Priest in the RCC may not be gay , but if it is not lived openly , it is tolerated. And clerics who are pedophiles , and child abusing , are not reported to the judiciary, they are secretly transferred to another parish , where they can freely continue raping children. And, it comes out then ; is the child ; not the adults blamed . In the United States, Ireland, Germany , Spain and South America, there were thousands of such cases.

In any case, intelligent and inquisitive than you, self-righteous asshole! I was born in 1952. My coming out as a transsexual person I had in 1992. Since I was married for the second time, and had four children from two marriages (2 children from each marriage). I tried for decades to fight against the woman in me. I read in the Bible, attended church services, was charity work, and fasted, and prayed. yes, I even had a friend of Catholic priests perform an exorcism on me. And I visited Christian therapist. But had not helped to kill the woman in me.
Maybe it has therefore not work because nothing was wrong with me? Because God had created me so. For whatever reason whatsoever.
