Morton, I'll tell you this: Question 1: What is a sin? Answer: The conscious decision against God. Question 2: Is homosexuality a sin? Answer: no. Not if you take the biblical authors to scale, deals with the origin of words and the context of a passage. Since it is clear that the writers of the OT, as Paul in the New Testament, of pederasts and their catamites spoke. Luther had Paul translated correctly. However, he was wrong, as far as Leviticus. Because the word abomination (toe'bah, I hope, I wrote it correctly) describes not a sin, but a social taboo, of which one could be purified by a ritual bath (mikveh). You as a former Jew should know that.
