Elmer, I have both studied and commented on that thread and have found it extremely incorrect factually.

Weed has never killed anyone of overdose nor has it led to any degeneration of the user's health.

I won't argue with you about the spiritual health because I have already won that argument.

And I am reconsidering my position I don't know where that came from...

The scripture that was quoted to you earlier by a True Christian (Matthew 13:37-38 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one) is not about any specific "species of plant" in the way secular godless scientists misuse the terminology. It is about harmful growth that suffocates and suppresses the growth of the desired outcome, the Kingdom of God. Any weed that prevents the spread of good seed is the "tare". It is not a biological species but a spiritual one, and thus Cannabis sativa is just a symbol of one of these spiritual bad seeds that infiltrate the fallen world of men, and you.

Regarding the possible presence of Cannabis (hemp, it does have proper uses also, such as cloth) in the region:

3000 BC in China.
1500 BC documents of Scythians (present day Iran and also wider regions - does that ring a Biblical bell?) using it.
600 BC in the region of modern Southern Russia.
And Plinius the Elder documented it in Rome (Sorry, but I think I have to mention the papist city).

All these regions have good land access to the Holy Land. Check the map.

In addition to avoiding confirmation bias, I suggest source criticism. After you've written a claim, please, check it. See if there's data supporting it. then, check if scripture supports it. Then re-write or - better till - re-consider if your views are flawed and if you should pray more, be less opinionated.
