    Re: New brother

Are you telling us that you are a eunuch, dear?
    2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

      No, I am not.
But I would like to practice sexual abstinence, for focusing God only.
I know, that Purity is not an option, but I really love to live with God only, and I've been thinking about that I should remain single and abstinent.

Because being with God is the greatest joy.
And with lifelong abstinence and purity, this relationship would be more intensive I think.

          Re: New brother

          Welcome to God's favourite forum.
You seem to be thinking well so far, but you still have a long journey before you can become a True Christian (tm).
First of all, your feelings and needs are no longer important. One day, you shall die and if you had spent your life thinking of your feelings before obeying God, you shall go to Hell and rot for eternity. Even if you have to swim over an ocean to find a suitable Church, it will be worth doing it a thousand times for the Glory of God. Stop thinking "What can I do for myself?" And start thinking "What can I do for Jesus after all he has done for me?"
          In Christ,
          Mary Thompson.
          Thinking of Abortion?
That fetus will be in Hell, because they never had a chance to repent their sinful ways (Psalms 51:5) (1 Kings 8:46)
Think of the children. Stop being a slut.

nDrew, sexual abstinence is a good thing. Paul tells us this:

1 Corinthians 7:1-2 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

1 Corinthians 7:7-9 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

So provided you are not tempted by the sins of the flesh such as fornication or onanism, remaining single and celibate is good. But, should you be tempted by those sins, then you must wed, or go to the firey pits of hell.

The Bible sais: "we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" Romans 6,2
and the v7: "For he that is dead is freed from sin."

I am not tempted by Fornication, I'm always careful with my eyes to where I look. Praise God, I've never had girlfriend before I became christian, not even since then. So God kept me virgin.
Like Job 31,1: "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid? "

So fornication is not temptation, I firmly focus to God, praying, biblie-reading with my every thought. So I keep no place for girl-thoughts.
