Does anyone know if there is a free KJV bible on the amazon kindle store? I tried to find one, but the only free ones were the ESV. I'm currently using my iPad, but it runs out of battery very quickly, and isn't very portable. If there aren't any free versions, I will of course buy one, but just in case, I would like to double-check first.

2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

    Jesus is disappoint.

    ...This is about being nice...
You really aren't getting this at all, are you? READ THE BIBLE, already.

...and getting to meet other Christians...
You'd have to be one first. And that means believing what the Bible says. And that means knowing what the Bible says. And THAT means (ermagerd) actually READING THE BIBLE (o noooeeeeesssss).

...If you are just going to criticise everything I say...
Only the intellectually indefensible or non-Biblical stuff. If you can justify any of the crap coming out of your piehole, please do so.

...I would rather not talk to you...
How about you extend that courtesy to everyone else, too, until you READ THE BIBLE? The True Christians™ have better things to do than run around cleaning up the mess you make when you spew platitudes that have nothing to do with Christ's teachings.

    ...I'm sorry.
    No, you're not.

    Neither am I, frankly.

Why did you only do the "main" ones? Why should the "true" religion (if it exists) attract the most followers? The Bible itself says that even when handed the Truth™ on a silver platter, with bows, most will reject it.

As I asked before, why? What seems fake to you about the others ones you looked into, that Christianity somehow avoids?

Even if you think educating others is a waste of time, I don't think the pastors here will appreciate you calling learning about Christianity one.

    Everyone needs a hobby.

When those "minor flaws" change the meaning of what they're trying to convey, then yes, I feel a need to ask for clarification (and not just for my benefit).

So I should listen to what you mean instead of what you say? I make no claims to psychic ability (especially here).

Exodus 22:18 "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."

As you claim to to have decided on Christianity after finding that "everything else is ridiculous", I was wondering how seriously you could have checked out "everything else". Not very, apparently.

I asked why it took so long for you to get around to checking out Christianity.

So how goes the Bible reading? What verse of Genesis 1 have you made it to?

Typical? Hardly, and you know it.

Learning about Christianity is most definitely a useful thing to do, but you're not teaching, you're just being rude.

I didn't 'check out' Christianity earlier, because I was an atheist..... It's not like I went on a wander and think... Hmm I wonder what religion I want to join. No, I was an atheist until I found this website, which convinced me that atheism was not the way to go, then I decided, that to be absolutely sure, I would learn about all the main religions, but they all seemed fake to me, except for this one. What part of that is confusing you?

A good example of people who always take everything literally, and cannot understand what people usually mean as you do, are people with autism. Do you have autism, by any chance?

I've asked the Admins to boot him numerous times, but apparently he stays just inside the boundaries. He does seem to know his Bible, so maybe there's hope for him yet.

At one point you're talking bout the 'tender age' of 23, implying that you think I'm far too young to have seen enough religions to have decided on Christianity, then you ask me why it took so long, but you just answered your own question, if 23 is such a young age, then why are you saying I took too long, implying that I should have changed YOUNGER, when already you say I'm too young. You should make up your mind.

So you've thoroughly investigated every other religion, belief system, or faith practice (and all of the varieties/denominations/sects/divisions thereof, including the more than thirty THOUSAND other "Christian" movements that exist today) ever conceived in the history of mankind, and done so at the tender age of only 23?

    Just, wow.

Also, excuse me while I ponder why it took you this long to get around to Christianity. I'd have thought, with you being raised in a country where Christianity is the dominant faith (and thus easier to investigate than, say, Zoroastrianism, Yazdânism, or Urarina), it would have been at the top of the list.

...While currently, as I have not finished the bible...
That speaks volumes about the completeness of your research to date.

...it was just the process of elimination...
Maybe, for the benefit of other seekers, you could make an exhaustive listing of your research, including (of course) every religion ever created by man, and all of the reasons why each one (plus atheism, which you've also rejected) is ridiculous. These reasons must be (for intellectual honesty's sake) inherent in the faiths themselves, and not simply doctrinal errors on the part of misguided practitioners.

    I anxiously await your submission.

Your life gets much easier after you are married to a good Christian man. You don't have to "plan" or "think" anything - just do as you are told.
There aren't any churches anywhere near my house, so I am still looking for a church to go to.
I can't wait to get a husband then, life would be so much easier without having to 'plan' or 'think'.
