So are you saying you attend that Baptist Church in Spain? If you have prayed the prayer you posted from their howtogotoheaven page and are a member of the congregation, does that mean you are no longer looking for a Church?

Genesis 9 is a great chapter. It teaches us about the perils of genital viewing and how some punishments last much longer than 10 generations.
But nothing about Abraham. Perhaps you were thinking of chapter 22?

Genesis 22:1-2 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. KJV

I did see that your Spanish Pastor only uses the King James Version and that is what I usually quote. Very occasionally I will deviate from that standard and cite the Douay-Rheims (for example) such as when demonstrating to a Romish heretic that even by their own "Biblical" standard they fall very far short.

In Genesis 9 KJV God commands Noah and his sons to repopulate the earth and ordains that all animals including birds & fish be afraid of us and dread the very sight of a human:

Genesis 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. KJV

A wonderful blessing from God. But for some people the joy of frightening animals (including birds & fish) is not enough. Such individuals are called perverts, and they just can't wait to tip you upside down and see if there's a maker's mark somewhere - such as may be found on the bottom of a tea cup.

Ham was such a pervert. Not only did he creep around waiting for his father to get drunk (which involved re-establishing grape vines from preserved cuttings, introducing wild yeasts back into the atmosphere, planting a vineyard, waiting for the berries to ripen, harvesting them, making the wine and fermenting it and also making barrels which would require oak trees to become re-established too, aging the stuff for a few months and so quite a lot of lurking around for depraved Ham "is he drunk yet? ..is he drunk yet? ..is he drunk yet? ..is he drunk yet? ..is he drunk yet? ..is he drunk yet? ..etc") but he spent the whole time obsessing over what is described in this chapter.

The ISV may be a little clearer for you as to what Ham actually did but don't fret - I'll link the KJV passage too. Notice in particular that Ham's punishment was dished out to his son. This is straightforward cause and effect:

18Noah’s sons who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ham later fathered Canaan.) 19These three were Noah’s sons, and from these men the whole earth was repopulated.

Genesis 9:20-25 Noah, a man of the soil, was the first to plant and farm a vineyard. He drank some of the wine, got drunk, and lay down nakedd right in the middle of his tent. Ham, who fathered Canaan, saw his father’s genitals and told his two brothers outside. Then Shem and Japheth took their father’se cloak, laid it across both their shoulders, and walking backwards, they both covered their father’s genitals. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s genitals. When Noah sobered up and learned what his youngest son had done to him, he said,

“Canaan is cursed!
He will be the lowest of slaves to his relatives.” ISV©2012 .. KJV

Noah was only 600 years old. For the next 350 years he had to endure the shame of having bred a full pervert, even though God had determined that these were the only 8 persons suitable to repopulate the whole world. There are many opportunitoes in Spain to emulate such repugnant behaviours I have heard. It that true? Do young men and women parade around practically naked preening in the sun? Do they use suntan lotion? Just imagine what could happen if one of them needed to contort a little to move their absinthe cocktail out of the sun, they would be so slippery and their garments so slight that a very untoward display indeed could result transfixing all the perverts (of which there must be many) and damning so many just as Canaan was damned—and Canaan wasn't even there for the viewing—THAT'S HOW BAD THIS IS.

The curse of Ham is still in force today. I hope that simple demonstration of what Genesis 9 contains has been helpful and that you will read the rest of Genesis too. KJV only, please.

You are absolutely right when you say the Lord will help to find. What a wondrous thing that God has brought you here to praise Him with us. Our forum is chock full of Bible believing and Spirit-filled folks that will pray for you, cry with you, laugh with you, and - most of all - help you to find a deeper walk with Christ. Glory!

Now about that whole finding a woman thing - not that it is the most important thing, of course - is there a particular type that appeals to you? I am certain that the Lord will lead you to someone - perhaps sooner than you think. Hallelujah!
