  • Hello!

Hello there, fellow Christians. I am female (and I accept my role as a female, having gained permission to post here from my responsible uncle, who is a True Christian), and I am a virgin teenager; I tell not my name for it is my username.

I come from the midwest (specifically Ohio), and though my father and mother have taken the path of the wronged and condemned themselves to Satan through their Atheistic ways, I am determined to guide myself along a life where I am proud to worship my Lord and Savior.

Before I found God and His wishes, I was a very sinful person...but now I know my place, and as an ex-bisexual, an ex-Atheist, and an ex-feminist, I am making my best efforts to repent. My uncle - a very religious man himself - has taken me under his wing in order to teach me the right paths to be able to spend a glorious eternity with Jesus in heaven. It was his hope that I would be able to be sickened by the sin that our society lavishes itself in - and the sin that my parents live in - and now we have achieved that goal, for I am truly disgusted by the occurrences that which those I am dishonored to call my fellow teenagers do.

I am currently reading through the Bible for my first time (being a very recent believer in Jesus), and I find it to be a much more intelligent read than the books I used to adore...may the Lord forgive me for once liking Harry Potter. I will pick a favorite verse once I am finished reading!

Good thing my uncle has showed me the right path to Jesus. It is my hope that I will be accepted in this community, despite my age and inexperience with being a True Christian. I look forward to this Sunday, however; I am going to be Saved!

Looking forward to talking to those more knowledgeable and experienced than I am, as well as being able to find individuals willing to help mentor and guide me alongside my uncle in an attempt to learn all I can about God and His ways!

    Well, Hello Ms. Mckenzie!

Quite a nice introduction! A cautious welcome to you!

You seem to have passed some of the most challenging obstacles on your path to potential SALVATION: homerism, feministisism, etc. An older male mentor is of course necessary, and we'd like to know more about your uncle and the doctrines he represents.

Yours situation could be as follows (Luke 15:3-7):
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5 And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Let's hope you'll be that one sinner! Going through the Good Book, are you? Have you located some verses that strike you as the most wonderful and True™ and have perhaps become your favorites?

Looking forward to discussing and eventually worshiping with you. What are your current marital prospects?! You know, marriage and childbirth will be required for your place in HEAVEN!

1 Timothy 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing , if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

Which church in Ohio are you attending?
I'm a little puzzled by your name. McKenzie is a last name of Scottish origin. Is it your first name, too?

        Yours in Christ,

        Elmer
Thank you, Elmer! I feel cautiously welcomed, and I am pleased that my introduction is good. I try my best to write well!

It was quite easy to pass my obstacles once I allowed Jesus and God to come into my heart. I found I no longer needed to divulge in such disgusting ideas such as homosexuality and feminism. As long as I allow the Good Book's words to course through me, I feel I will never revert to such sinful ways again!

My uncle, I like to believe, is a good man. He and his wife have been together since she was 14, and they have several True Christian children - currently three boys and two girls. They do not believe in such blasphemous ideas such as science and that the sun is the center of the earth; they do, however, believe in following the Lord and His words in every aspect of life. Good, Republican, moral people, who have taught me the right Christian way, and have thus taken me into their home, allowed me to go to a religious school, and spend my nights at the local Baptist church, learning about those who I ought to have learned of in my youth. His wife is a good woman too, though not quite as fantastic as my uncle; she is teaching me how to bake pies and how to write hymns, though!

I do believe that I will become that one sinner, through faith and worship! The Good Book is one that I've been reading avidly for several days! I believe that thus far I am quite a fan of these two passages:

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

As I with you, Brother. I am currently on the lookouts to find a morally righteous, good, upstanding True Christian husband to be wed to; it'd be even better if he wasn't afraid to punish me if I make mistakes such as under-cook a pie or bare my ankles in public! It's my hope that I eventually am married to a man God has decided is fit for me, and that we can have many God-loving children together. Marriage and childbirth are prospects I am looking forward to!

        Sincerely,
        Mckenzie

I currently attend Bethel Baptist Church. It is the closest we have to a church such as Landover, though it's my intentions to eventually move to Iowa.

It is my first name, but not my last name; currently, my last name is Shaw. I, of course, will take the surname of whatever upstanding man I am married to in the future.

          Re: Hello!

Hello dear and welcome to our friendly forums.

I am sorry to hear of your earlier troubles, but glad that your uncle has convinced you to drop the pre-teen affectations of bisexualism (as if a person could be of both sexes! ) and feminism. If God had intended men and women to be equal, he would never have given us Colossians 3:18 - Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Mckenzie is an extremely unusual name for a woman, though of course your Godless parents must take the responsibility for this. I assume that when you are of age, you will change it to something more modest? I am afraid that I associate the name with the British actor McKenzie Crook.

We all look forward to getting to know you better and sharing your journey towards Salvation.

Now hold on a minute. You claim to be a virgin, yet in the same breath inform us that you're a former bisexual atheist? What could have possibly prevented such a creature from fornicating? Are you overweight?

As you grow in your Christian experience, you will discover more and more things to be of disgust. I myself, find it difficult to pass a single moment without finding something new to be disgusted by.

When you have achieved this attitude, rejoice, because you are even closer to becoming a True Christian.
