Introductions: What are some of your favorite places?

Hello! I'm new here and I just want to introduce myself. I'm Lucy Ferguson. I was born and raised in the blue state of California. My parents and I were going to move to Texas when I was 13, but, regretfully, they did not because of their ties there. Unfortunately I was unable to get out for college and am still stuck in California. I'm in my second year of college, studying to be a doctor. On to answering the intro question:

I like to take walks at night and look at the sky and look at all of the stars. It just amazes me how these little things in the sky are actually giant balls of gas far out in space doing fusion to create light that travels millions or billions of light years to eventually die on our eyes. The best place I like to go to look at them is at the chainlink fence that surrounds a junkyard near my house because you can see the flowers and plants slowly taking over the fence and it reminds me how small and insignificant we are compared to God's great Earth.

What about you? Besides church, what are your favorite places to be and why?

That was a horrible introduction. What church do you belong to? Why aren't you married yet? How did you find Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior? Why do you need a doctorate in order to cook, clean, and birth children?
Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

Hello Lucy, and welcome to our friendly forums! I see after all your years of public education you have confused the instructions to tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is, and how you came to find Jesus with asking where you like to go to avoid hide and avoid responsibilities. That's okay. We're a patient and charitable group here, and you're most welcome to try again!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

College? What are you, another communistic lezbean?

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
          Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

It just amazes me how people can believe things that are so contrary to Scripture. Light could not have traveled millions or billions of light years, since both light and the universe itself were created just over six millennia ago. Also, the secular reimagining of stars as "giant balls of gas" is hard to reconcile with the following:

[Revelation 6:13 KJV] 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

My dear, if you are in your second year of college, you are 20. Shouldn't you be looking for a husband? And why are you studying to be a doctor. As a fellow woman, we are bound to mess up and make mistakes even if we get all that liberal "education". If you must be at college, go into domestic studies and go for an AA and get your MRS. Degree!

Great. I'm sure you'll be very quick to cry "rape" and get a free abortion when your habit of nightly transgression very predictably gets you into trouble.

My favorite places besides church is to sit at the feet of our manly ministers of God and learn about the power of Jesus and how he fills us up with his love in a very non-gay way.

YOUR favorite place is either in a Bible Believing Church or in the kitchen making homemade meals for your man and family of at least 8 young male offspring.
Revelation 19:15-16 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords."
