I'm afraid you're talking to the deaf and dumb now, Mr. Not So Much. When people start responding only in Biblical quotes, it shows they've lost their hold on whatever pathetic argument they came in with and hope throwing random quotes will work like some magic charm.

Maybe if she were a proper woman and had a proper husband who she'd listen to there would be hope. But I for one have to heed the words of our Lord. Matthew 10:14 "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet."

How do you get that? The Lord clearly said, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." How did you expect the enemies to come forward for their righteous punishment for not trusting or sufficiently loving their master? Do you think they would have willingly come forth and exclaimed, "Gee, Master, You're 100% right and while what you said didn't make sense to me and I couldn't understand the logic of what you were getting at, I should have believed you anyway. Please forgive me for trusting my older brother, who is an investor and had a more sound investment strategy in mind. Please forgive me for trusting in someone who has shown an objective measure of successful at his trade, someone I could speak with in a real, live, reciprocal conversation, someone who could answer my questions the moment I asked them, in a concrete way that could be verified by other witnesses. Clearly you know better. I trusted my brother because I know him well, but I should have thrown trust and logic and reason to the wind and simply have obeyed you without hesitation because you are, after all, the master and my responsibility is to wait and obey when instructed. Here, please lop off my head. Would you like me to kneel here or over there?"

Or did the master mean for his servants to grab the ungrateful folk and wrestle them to the ground to face their doom, as man has an instinct for self preservation and separating one's head from one's shoulder is generally not considered to be conducive to this end? If we are the servants, do you think we are to wait for the enemies of the Master to willingly walk forward and accept their justice? Or do you think it's a tad more logical to assume our responsibility is to use our God-given responsibility to judge, to identify the enemy of the Lord, and to respond as commanded? Good grief, son. You need to stop relying on whatever Disney version of the Gospels you've been spoon fed, and read the letters of the Good Book as they are written. Waiting for sinners to come forward and accept their punishment doesn't work. All it does is encourage them to sin more, and promote sin. It's why we have things like "yoga pants" for women, "liturgical dance" with ribbons and noisemakers during some church services, and laws that make institutionalized praying away of the gay a criminal act. Your logic, dear, is flawed. I'll trust the Lord Jesus Christ, thank you very much.

It is Basilissa who is twisting words. I suggest you read the entire passage. I will interpret for you anyway.

Jesus was talking about servants who already hated their ruler. The ruler spoke those words about slaying the wicked in response to the servant who who spoke grievances of and to his master, and failed to understand his master's generosity and kindness (of which 99% of Jesus teachings revolve). That is why the ruler took what the "wicked" had and gave it to others more worthy.

In simpler words, use what you have been given for good or lose what you have to those who are deemed worthy.
