So it can't be God you've been with for the last 10 years.

By definition, you can't be a Christian if you're a rug-muncher.

I find it difficult to believe that in your ten years of claiming to follow Christ you haven't taken the time to read the Bible, which is of course the only way to know Him and His Rules.

My faith is what makes me think I'm a Christian. Everyone has sinned in their lives, and if you plan to single people out for different kinds of sins like this then you need to look in the mirror buddy.

I consider the Old Testament completely dead. It offers wisdom, but we no longer live under the old law. If you plan on cherry picking bible verses, then so can I.

No, following the Bible IN ITS ENTIRETY is what makes you a Christian. Redefining Christianity for your fiendish purposes does not make it so.

You can't be a Christian if you don't believe the Old Testament. Jesus Himself appears in the Old Testament, so I hardly think He would tell us to ignore it.
