    Hello All!

I found this site while doing research for my evangelism course at Liberty University. And I am SO glad that I did! From what I have seen, you all (True Christians) are so level headed and down to earth. And I am looking forward to getting to know everyone of you!
A little about myself, my name is Doris. I am 19 years old. I am a freshmen at LU. And a CHRISTIAN! Praise!
My background is loaded, and I really don't know where to begin.

I was raised into a Christian family, I mean full blown Christian. But my father started to slip up. His temper was growing rapidly and becoming more and more short fused. He used to abuse my mother sister and I both physically and emotionally. So, when I was around the age of 4, my mother finally divorced my father. Although they were divorced, the abuse continued. My father had joint custody with my mother. And my mother was to affraid to say anything to the athourities. So my sister and I lived in abuse and chaos for the next 13 or so years. And I had blamed God for this. I just couldn't understand how a supposed "loving and caring" God could let this happen. So i went on blaming God. And I took it out on myself as well. I became bulimic. At first, it really was not that noticeable. But not too long after, i weighed only 78 pounds. And I was 5''5. Incredibly underweight. But when I looked in the mirror, all I saw was a huge hag. Well, my mother had to rush my to the hospitle. And that is where I recived treatment. But after I was released, I went right back into my old ways. And no one noticed. I continued this distructive behavior until I was 18. And was out of my father's house. Where I found God again at TRBC. (Thomas Road Baptist Church). And was saved by Pastor Jerry Falwell. (I love him).

Uhm, i don't know what else to put.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

    God Bless.

          Doris,

I can tell that you want to be a righteous Christian woman. You have had a hard life so far, yet you have come to love Christ.

Brother Falwell was a great man, and you are fortunate to be at his school. Our own Pastor Deacon Fred went to Liberty U.

          Yours in Christ.

I for one don't believe a word this Harlot is saying. She's trying to sneak in with the True Christians....has the Department of Faith checked her background yet?
The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."

It sounds like the good Pastor Ezekiel is dealing with this "personally".
I'm sure he would have dealt with her far more severely if she hadn't Come up to his expectations.

                    Re: Hello All!

Who do you hate more: Mahommedans or sodomites?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

                      I don't understand.
On what grounds have I given you reason to believe that I am a Harlot trying to sneak in with the True Christians?
I respect your belief. But I do not understand.
                      Can you please explain sir?

Jerry Falwell was an amazing Christian man!!

I stopped by the student center to get on here, and it came up blocked. On every computer I tried. I assume it is a misstake.
I am on my personal laptop at the moment.
