Could you please point me the appropriate place in Scripture that supports Sister Basilissa's assertions.

John, I had high hopes for you, especially considering your last name, but with the ease of legal name changes these days unfortunately I'm suspicious that you are of abo descent and stole this name from a decent God-fearing normal person.

If you continue to be combative, I'm afraid that your posting privileges will be curtailed or even rescinded. Now might be a good time to read more and post less...you just might learn something.

Hi, and welcome to our friendly forum! You seem to be confused. It's normal when coming out of a cult like the one you were indoctrinated into, but here we encourage people to read the Holy Bible so they know what It truly says!

You see, God has a perfect plan for all people, and that includes those whose labors are given unto us without their 100% approval, but that does not mean we are commanded to enslave people. When and if we do benefit from such a workforce, we have specific instructions for the purchase and treatment of such workers.

So tell us, how do you like best to go out and bring the Good News to the heathen of your area?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Thankyou Mary Ethelreda for your kind words of wisdom and warm welcome. You have been the first to welcome me with warmth and kindness and I appreciate. From the first reply to my introductory post i was greeted with hostility and being the Olde Fashioned eye for an eye Christian that I am i responded in kind. As you can see from my avatar I'm a bit of a combative soul - perhaps that can be attributed to my altar boy days in that church whose vile name I refuse to utter in polite company.

Perhaps some heathens need to be converted through the use of force like in the good old days of the Crusades and Inquisitions. Ahh, the joys of being a warrior for our Good Lord. Some heathens need love and milk and cookies and others need the heel of my battle sword rammed into their temples

Again, thank you for your kind words and wisdom, they're very much appreciated.

Consider the circumstances, dear. You come to us a complete mystery. Your Salvation is as of yet unknown to us. While you are under investigation, posting pornographic links, whining, and arguing for the sake of argument will no more help your cause than referring to Alistair Crowley or ABBA. If your cause is to glorify the LORD, to praise His Holy Name, to fellowship with True Christians™ who desire no less than to share the Good News that He is going to send every single person on Earth who doesn't believe in Him straight to Hell, then you've come to the right place. Tell me, have you read the Holy Bible through (don't fib, I'll know as surely as the Holy Ghost already does)?

How is asking for someone to cite scripture for their assertions possibly being combative? I have read many threads here and I had high hopes for this place given its purported ability to effortlessly cite scripture for everything but I see that in this instance no one's able to like so many other Christians I've met.

I see you've changed my avatar as an attempt to blacken my good character. This is unacceptable as in many parts of the Bible it's forbidden to bear false witness and tell lies. You should be ashamed of yourself calling yourself any sort of Christian.

Kindly ban me to Aeternal Damnantion as I will not be returning and I will continue my path towards the Lord with True Christians where I can find them because with the exception of Mary Ethelreda I haven't found one here yet.

              Good day

PS, sorry Mary, keep up the good work

                  Re: Greetings wonderful people

My, John. Why you would come to a place where the Lord is King of Kings and His love and fellowship permeate every nook and cranny and then leave like that concerns me greatly.

I was ready to welcome you warmly and offer a brotherly hand of Christian greeting only to read that you've decided not to come back. If the Lord leads you to read this, perhaps you'll reconsider. We want to share the knowledge of Jesus and His love with you and help you to avoid the fate that all non-Christians will endure:
                  Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
                  Amen and Amen
