i don't think they will be too happy when they die and it's very sad because all they had to do was believe and repent of their sins and they could of went to heaven. all this time they were wrong. they pick on us Christians and says we are brainwashed for believing but really they are wrong. i just think it's sad.

So when Jesus said to follow every Law, He was just kidding? Just screwing with His Disciples? Making them worry for nothing? When Paul said a woman can only hope for Salvation through childbirth he was just making it up? Joshin' with the ladies?

Please, do tell us in what Chapter and Verse you read the Holy Bible tells us to ignore certain passages.

They have to do more than just believe and repent. They have to endure the misery and unhappiness that you are going through right now. They have to pass God's test. Why does God test us like this? Surely He knows if we believe. Why does He make us so miserable?

i don't think god wants us to be miserable. that's why we need to go to him so he will help us through our hard times so we can be happy again. but if we don't go to him and just care about ourselves like i used to do then god allows you to go through bad things so that way we can get closer to him and stop caring about us and start serving jesus. i hope what i said made a little bit of sense (:

And how's that working out for you? Either you're wrong and God doesn't care if you're miserable, or you're wrong and you're not really going to God at all. You're just talking to yourself.

if god didn't care then why did he die for our sins. why did he go through all of that pain and suffering if he didn't care if i'm miserable? and at the time i put god to the side and didn't care and now this is happening and i need to get back straight with god so i don't feel this way anymore. oh and i gotta put one more thing =P there you go

But it's not good enough to try hard and fail. God demands perfection. Matthew 5:48
That's why it's so hard. We can't all be perfect, so most of us are doomed. We spend our lives being unhappy, and we still die and go to Hell. Why? Why? Why? Atheists at least spend their lives being happy.

Now, that's not very Christian. Poking your tongue out at another Christian.
That's what I mean - sometimes it's just too hard to be perfect.
