This is complete nonsense if you think about it. Ok, if there is this supposed void, which is literally "nothingness", then how could it be measured? The value of "nothing" is zero. There's no way there could be millions of light years of "nothing" if there is nothing there.
Think about it. Nothing + Nothing = Nothing. 0 + 0 = 0. If I have nothing, and you have nothing, we don't have "two nothings", we both just have nothing. You can't measure it.
You actually can. An example of a void would be the Capricornus Void between two galactic superclusters. It's about 230 Mpc across, taken by measuring the redshift coefficents of the objects on the boundaries.
Also, we can disprove the point of atoms being 99.99% empty space. If this were true, wouldn't we mostly see empty space? Let's use an analogy: Say we have millions of Lego bricks. Each Lego Brick is 99.99% red with a tiny, tiny blue dot in the center of it, which is equal to 0.01%. If we stacked these millions of Legos into a wall, and traveled far away and looked at it from a distance....what color would the wall appear? Red, of course.
But, if you claim that 0.01% of atoms are mass (blue), then that means the wall would look blue in the distance.
See, this is why I don't trust atheist scientists. They believe in the strangest superstitions that defy common sense.
You're mistaking color for being an innate quality of an object.
To give a better example, find a large, completely dark chamber, then, from a distance, turn on a set of bulbs and tell me if you can see them. The entirety of the light you percieve is created by a filament the thickness of a hair inside a vaccum, yet, if you place the lights together close enough, it appears to be a single object of light in comparison to the dark room.
While it's not a perfect analogy, it actually gets closer to the point, the atoms are only visible to us as a collective as a result of the light they reflect, releasing color that we percieve, but the source of the fields of color we see is mostly empty space. We aren't seeing the "parts" so to speak, as they're far too small, just the reflected light.
Nothing is an observable part of the universe's structure. Between the galaxies lie vast reaches of complete emptiness, a void in our cosmos that can stretch for hundreds of millions of light years. Nothing is, arguably, a more natural concept than something, since from the largest scale of universal organization to the atomic level, matter is all too often defined in terms of empty space.
Even a theoretically solid object consists, on an atomic level of 99.99% empty space, and on the scale of our universe, points of matter are punctuated by vast stretches of nothingness.

And that gibberish is how you justify the atheists waging war on Christmas?
No, not at all. The "War on Christmas" is absurd, in all honesty. It's a secular crusade fought by Dawkins readers who think of Atheism as a religion and want to foist it upon everyone with the zeal of a suicide bomber.

That is plenty of room for God to exist in friend. Perhaps it would be to term that nothing you describe as "gap"?
Atheism is passe friend. How anyone can truly believe in the existence of nothing this day and age is beyond belief. How many years ago did you name sake proclaim "God is dead" and yet here we are poised to teach Creationism in America's classrooms?

Interesting, Pastor Zeke. I got this in my email today, and it must be true (otherwise, why would so many people forward it?)
OBAMA IS MAKING IT ILLEGAL TO SAY "MERRY CHRISTMAS". YES, YOU HEARD RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"President" Obama has sent an in-White House memo that got leaked saying that "Merry Christmas" is prohibited around the White House, lest they offend non-Christians. He has made it it PUNISHABLE BY TERMINATION...yes...YOU CAN GET FIRED FOR SAYING "MERRY CHRISTMAS".
Furthermore, no Christmas decorations will be put up in the White House this year. Obama told a staffer (leaked): "This is a multi-religious nation and I have a responsibility to my Muslim, Jewish, and Atheist friends not to push the Christian agenda in the White House." He honestly said that!!!!
SEND THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!! LET THEM KNOW THAT AMERICA ELECTED THE ANTICHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I've got it on good authority that this Christmas, the Obama White House (an oxymormon if ever there was one) is planning on forcing through a constitutional amendment that effectively forces the Christ out of Christmas. The Demoncrat law mandates all Americans to have "Holiday Trees" in their homes, decorated with only secular objects.
It all started with this chain email I received, which I believe 100% because it probably comes from a concerned Christian.
White House will not do Christmas
Thought you might be interested in this information from the Obama White House. This isn’t a rumor; this is a fact.
We have a friend at church who is a very talented artist. For several years she, among many others, has painted ornaments to be hung on the various White House Christmas trees. The WH usually sends out an invitation to send an ornament and informs the artists of the theme for the year.
She got her letter from the WH recently. It said that they would not be called Christmas trees this year. They will be called Holiday trees. And, to please not send any ornaments painted with a religious theme.
She was very upset at this development and sent back a reply telling them that she only painted the ornaments for Christmas trees and would not be sending any for display that left Christ out of Christmas.
Just thought you should know what the new residents in the WH plan for the future of America . If you missed his statement that "we do not consider ourselves a Christian Nation" this should confirm that he plans to take us away from our religious foundation as quickly as possible.
It's not so much atheists persecuting Christians as it is fanatical madmen approaching a philosophical position with the passion of a religion, it's absurd.
Oh, and to the innumerable Atheists who posted here with their, for lack of a better word, grammar, learn to use the shift key and punctuation. Typing without reasonable spelling or decent grammar is the mark of a poor thinker.

I suppose this Christmas will be the first time there won't be a Christmas tree at the White House. I haven't been to Washington lately and I can't bear to see what the White House is going to look like with minarets and swastikas.

I know deep down inside you want to be a Graeco-Roman pagan — after all, why would you speak the language of ancient Rome (in your corrupted version called Ecclesiastical Latin) if you hate it so much? Besides, certain practices of the ancient Greeks are alive and well and living in the Roman institution, now, aren't they?
ETA: Oops, my bad. Catholicism pretty much is Graeco-Roman paganism with a thin Christian veneer.

For the same reasons that I take a group of True Christian(tm) Brothers into the cesspools of downtown Des Moines every Friday night to witness to the strippers.
God wants us to wade into satan's territory and save souls. In your case it's "know thy enemy."
