    Offensive "Christmas" TV Shows

    I don't know about you folks, but I've had it up to here with all these blasphemous TV shows they run at this time of the year, all purporting to have something to do with Christmas while at the same time offending Jesus.

    I'll never forget this one, because it gave me nightmares the first time I saw it. What does the birth of Mankind's Savior have to do with a talking horse? And what about the relationship between the horse and that man it talks to? Bestiality makes God sick!

          Back on topic, I find nearly all Christmas shows offensive. This holiday is all about the Son of Christ. No claymotion production can ever do the majesty of His birth justice. Everything (even if ir is a Pixlar production) pales compared to the real deal of a actual birth in a barn.

                      More pure blasphemy! Who greenlighted the idea of a CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER to have his own Christmas Special? Way back in the late 1980's, Pee-Wee Herman had a Christmas show. I even initiated a letter-writing campaign to CBS to not air it, but our pleas were ignored.

                      And get a load of the "colorful" guest cast....Frankie & Annette! CHARO! Magic Johnson! Superdyke kd lang! Grace Jones! Whoopi Goldberg! Oprah! Joan Rivers! And Princess Zsa-Zsa Gabor! I mean, seriously, who actually greenlighted this piece of crap? It's an absolute train wreck of a television Christmas show.

                        In my book, unless the show has a Reverend like you, Rev. Osborne, it is not a Christmas show. I thank God every day I get your program and a few other Godly programs. With these new digital tuners, I parental locked out all the other stations and my system only shows 'Mr. Hutchins Approved' channels.

                          I guess by now that all of you have seen this story:

                          Flight Diverted Because of Christmas Ornament

                          NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A spokesman says a Northwest Airlines flight from Detroit was briefly diverted to Tennessee after someone found a suspicious package that turned out to be a Christmas ornament....


                          Let me just point out that the problem we had last year with Chinese-made exploding Christmas ornaments has been solved. We took those off the market, and sold them to the military to be used as landmines. This year, we have not had a single tree ornament explode, though a few will emit toxic fumes - however, they're completely safe if you use them on outdoor trees only (and don't stand within 10 feet of the tree).

                          Anyway, it was completely unnecesary to Northwest Airlines to divert that flight just because of a toxic Christmas ornament. They could have dropped the oxygen masks for the passengers to breathe - that certainly would have been cheaper.

                            Several days ago, I watched a Christman special by the name of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". That is to say, I watched approximately 2 minutes of it before turning it off in disgust. The show featured, among other things, talking animals. TALKING. Speech is a gift given to Man by God. According to The Holy Bible, Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

                            Man having dominion over the animals implies our superiority to them. If animals are shown to have human characteristics such as speech, this is implying that they are equal to man. How can man have dominion over his own equal? This is contradictary to The Holy Bible and is thus blasphemous. I shall be writing to the television company to ensure that this heretic work is not shown to our impressionable children any more.

                              Amen! The idea of a talking reindeer is just plan crazy. The only animals that talk are in the Holy Bible.
