Sushi is Japanes,not Chinese, and I have never gotten sick from Asian food. In fact, the only case of food poisoning I have ever had was from a Taco Bell, which was pretty much the end of my fast food days.

The flesh is contains a neurotoxin, and if not prepared properly, can be fatal to those who eat it. When prepared properly, there is just enough of the neurotoxin present to cause a pleasant tingling sensation in the facial muscles.
I've never tried it, nor do I intend to.
