Why do you even care what new zealand tourist get up to in there holidays and how do you know that they all do the same thing are you basing this off one group that you met ?

What part of I'm not talking about tourists did you not understand? I'm talking about NZers who live here and who spend their time entirely with other NZers. Not one group that I met, once. Hundreds of them, over a period of more than 30 years in London, some of them work colleagues, some of them (unfortunately) relatives.

Now, as the mining boom is in NW Western Australia, at most, 37,000 are there for the mining boom.

This is now because of the mining boom dropping off as the Australian goverment imposes carbon taxes so the new zealanders must fimd new jobs in Australia to support there familys

I'm not talking about tourists - in fact you rarely see an NZ tourist in England, which is something to be grateful for I suppose. I'm talking about the ones in their 20s who come over to work for a while, usually in London, and "travel" as they call it.

The Australians do the same thing, but they generally show a bit more independence in the sense that they don't stick together like copulating snails.

Why do you even care what new zealand tourist get up to in there holidays and how do you know that they all do the same thing are you basing this off one group that you met ?

So they set themselves up in flats in London, which they share with other New Zealanders, and spend their evenings in pubs staffed by New Zealanders. During their time off, those pub staff go to other NZ pubs. (Actually, I wonder if they have their own micro-economy going there? Maybe they ALL work in pubs? ) Occasionally they travel around Europe, in packs, staying in hostels where they meet other New Zealanders and talk about New Zealand and complain about the lack of "fush and chups" in Rome or Athens.

So you know the life of every new zealand tourist or are you only basing it off one or two cases and then saying it implies to them all ?

Because I have been there 9 or 10 times over a period of 20 years. See this post. My niece said that the first thing she noticed when she moved to London was how clean the streets are, by comparison, and how little graffiti there is.

Hang on, that makes no sense. If New Zealand has hardly any mining industry, then why are you training people to be miners? Do you want them to leave the country?

Why not just train them to do something useful instead, like fix cars or washing machines or paint over the graffiti and sweep the filthy streets of Auckland?

No one was trained to be miner they went therento be trained because the mining jobs where paying anywhere from 200, 000 a year to 600, 000 a year

The reason thereare so many kiwi over in Australia js because in the past 10 to 15 years Australia has had a huge mining boom and no Australians wanted to do it so the jobs became very high paying so New Zealanders went over to fill in the spaces and with them they took there families because of the high paying mine jobs there

New zealand doesn't have a big mining industry so thats why they don't work in kiwi mines as they are relatively small and don't pay aswell
