I don't recommend watching this, but I happened upon a dance competition video from this country. The male dancers are obviously homers with the shaved bodies and the women wear men's clothes and make male dominating dance moves. The last scene is a sexual orgy.

It helped me understand why God hates that place so much.

Your well-meaning posts are all academic and thus mildly interesting but in the world of Godly Realpolitik, the wheels have turned and the concept of Finland will soon be obsolete. We all know how President Trump and President Putin were BFFs and how the Biden guy tried to demolish this relationship of budding bromance. Well, he seems to be coming to his senses. We also know that there was some talk of Mr. Putin re-claiming the westernmost parts of Godly Russia called Youcrane. This is no longer an option, as the Biden guy had a phone-call with Mr. Putin and recommended invading Finland, instead.

I heard that they like to boil themselves in steam rooms and then roll naked in the snow. But one shouldn't believe everything one hears, and that would just be ridiculous.

Well, ruling a country is also men's work in civilized countries, yet here she is ruling over the Eskimos of Lapland. Why isn't she married, staying home and bearing children - is there something wrong with her? Aside from the obvious, that she's taking men's roles on herself, that is.

Our first approach to this discussion should be a clear definition of the term "civilized country". Just because the Finnerians have a national flag and (I assume) electricity, that doesn't mean they are any more advanced as a group than your average Yanamono or Maasai tribesperson.

At this point does anyone NOT hate Finland? I think that's the real question we should be asking.

That is exactly what I was thinking. While I am not a geographical scholar, I have been around the block a few times.
Has anyone ever seen their printed language or heard them speak? It sounds and looks like 'Satan in a meat grinder'.
Perhaps I missed it, but I have not seen a single reference in the Holy Bible telling us 'Finland is good'. Certainly, it is not an 'error by omission'. Rather, God does not want us to look, like common sense tells us not to glance at a female during a windy day in case they appear disheveled.

Apparently today is the Finish Independence Day. Yes, it's an independent land - who knew? I doubt it will be independent much longer, as even the Chinese have noticed that support for the military is in decline. Anyway, the small but vocal community-in-exile here has arranged all sorts of celebrations, perhaps for the last time, and seven of my boys (everyone over the age of 4 but not Hannah, obviously) have been invited along.

I understand that they are starting with a seal hunt at the nature reserve - the spoils will be taken back to Mrs Umlautnen's (we call her that because nobody can pronounce or spell her real name), as she plans to cook some blubber-based "delicacy". (Matthew and I were invited to the dinner, but thought it best to decline, pleading a subsequent engagement.) Then in the evening there will be a parade with flaming torches, and some sort of volley of warning shots (provided by my boys) and goodness knows what else. I do know that there will be hymns and Bible readings to counter any frivolous folk-singing - my boys will make sure of that.


In the spirit of True Christian(tm) charity and reconciliation, I wish the Fins a joyful 101st birthday and would add that 101 is a good age and they should not regret their country's imminent demise.
