I think the flag is very important. I find it lack of respect to simply post a random flag and claim it to be the flag of Denmark.
I have seen a topic called 10 reasons why god hates america, where the canadian flag was used. none of you seemed very satisfied with that either, so how can you expect us danes( And yes that's what we're called!) to simply look the other way

We have already covered the topic of the colours of the Swedish Whaling flag. The red does represent blood, the blood of whales as they were being harpooned. The white may represent white men, or icebergs in the water. The colour white has not been noted anywhere.

That is the Danish flag! The Red & White flag! Not a Swedish Whaling flag.

I don't know of any Swedish Whaling flag, I know what the Swedish flag is, but I have never heard of a whaling flag. I have never heard of a Danish Whaling flag either.

It is ILLEGAL to perform any form of whaling in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland).

They outlined the illegal nature of Whaling and differentiated between:

1. Aboriginal Subsistence Whaling
2. Commercial Whaling

There is a HUGE difference between the two, one is whaling based on the fact of the aboriginals (original settlers) substained existence, because it is one of their vital food supplys (like hunting is to many people around the world).

The other is what is primarily seen in Japan, where they go out on huge tankers and ships and aggressivly hunt down whales for their commodities (teeth, skin, bones etc.).

Aboriginal Subsistence Whaling is LEGAL, and in fact, Denmark, Russia and America are the major nations with this form of whaling.
Due to indigenous peoples in:

Greenland (Denmark) - Kalaallit natives.

First of all, that picture has been photoshopped, quite easily to detect that a Danish flag has been posted on a SWEDISH shit which has a SWEDISH website (svkwhaling.se). The .SE stands for a SWEDISH website if you haven't figured that out yet.
Secondly, it is a RESEARCH vessel, you can see that the Danish flag has been placed over the banner on the ship, and crossed out a part of "Legal researching".

It is a RESEARCH vessel, used to conduct research on the whales, finding out how they are living, how they are coping with the natural world changes etc.
