hi, i'm from belgium and i believe in the knowledge of science,
the thing that, for example makes you're computers work... so it's not god who's controlling electrons or creating 'bits and bytes". just because you can't grasp it, doesn't mean god made it or guided mankind in making it
as for my comment on the quote:
you're saying america should rule the world just because they have lots of fanatic religious people??? then islam has every right to do this too, cause they also have a few fanatic religious groups...
if you counter this with: "but our religion is the one, it's written in KJV" then you're even dumber then i thought, cause that's just an opinion, without any proof or facts to substanciate this...
to elaborate on this fact: no one can proof, for certain, that this book is non-fiction, just as well, i admit, no one can proof, for 100% certainty, that it is fiction...
and, if i comprehend you correct, according to you theire should be only one (american) culture in this world and the rest destroyed???
doesn't this sound almost exactly like someone who lived till 1945 and started the second world war...
i thought mankind was smart enough to learn from mistakes made in the past...

you're still giving a lot to the church, as example cranky old man's text on "how to reproduce", it says the more money you'll give to the priest the more beautifull you're wife will be...
the only people benefitting from this are: the priest's with theire big ass churches and shinny new cars
so you see, you're the one's trying to ram shit down (good) people's throats, e.g. by planning the next crusade and forcing everyone into your religion,...
by the way if you want to evolve back to apes and throw everything we've learned so far in a trash can, so be it, but do not indoctrinate and brainwash the rest of the world, keep this to your own community.
