There's no way you have kept all 600+ either so whatever, that's what Jesus is for anyways, its something called FORGIVENESS, you should try saying the Lord's prayer a few times, if you don't understand that, then continue to waste you're time on this uninformative and hateful forum that teaches others to condemn people, if I see y'all in heaven, its cool, but don't test me....that's Gods job, and you're not God if you haven't realized it, which I don't think anybody on this forum has according to everything everybody has posted. Friend, why all the anger? It's not hard for a True Christian(tm), born anew in Christ, to avoid sinful temptations. In fact, it's as impossible for a True Christian(tm) to sin as it is for Christ Himself to sin. Considering we are but walking, talking temples of the Holy Spirit Himself, our actions reflect naught but God's Will (1st John 3:9). There's no need for jealousy, dear, you too can give yourself to Christ and be redeemed!

I believe every word of the Bible, and I know that I don't have to know every letter of it to enter the Kingdom of God. I do not turn away knowledge of the Bible, I just do not stress myself out over it. If you all believe that you have to know every word of the Bible you are just making it hard on yourselves and others.

The parable of the faithful and evil servants tells us that while the ignorant are not as guilty as the wilfully disobedient, they will still be punished.

Lk 12:42-48
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

It seems that of men to whom nothing has been committed, something will be expected. In Old-Testament times uncircumcised babies were held guilty of breaking covenant with God even though they were ignorant of God's commandment and unable to carry it out without the assistance of their parents.

Gen 17:14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.

Leviticus 4 tells us God required an offering from His people when they sinned in ignorance. He required the shedding of blood.

Lev 4:1-3
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

Lev 4:13-14
13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

Notice that those who sin in ignorance are guilty.

Lev 4:22-23
22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

Lev 4:27-28
27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

You don't want to be ignorant of what God expects of you, and you don't have to be. You can read His Word.

I do not disagree with any of the Bible verses any of you have posted, I agree with the entire Bible and believe since Jesus clarified that it is the truth, and I believe Jesus to be the truth, that the Old Testament, AS WELL AS THE NEW TESTAMENT is the truth.

You're the one who has been quoting Scripture out of context. Proverbs 8:17 is not about loving God but wisdom. And for some reason, you think 2 Pet 3:9 counts more than Proverbs 16:4, which clearly states that God made the wicked for the sole purpose of destroying them...

The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

... or Romans 9, which tells us God hated Esau before he was even born.

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth)
12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

The same passage goes on to tell us God raised up Pharaoh for the sole purpose of showing off His power with the plagues of Egypt.

Rom 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

God has mercy on, or hardens the heart of, whoever He wants.

Rom 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

And yet God is without blame for the fate of the "vessels of wrath" He created for destruction.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

This passage portrays God as a potter. He takes a lump of clay and with half of it He makes a vessel to be filled with the wine of His wrath. With the other half He makes a vessel for honor, to be filled with His mercy and the riches of His glory. No one can resist God's will, just as a lump of clay cannot resist the will of a potter. Yet we shouldn't question Him. He can make of us whatever He wants.

2 Peter 3:9, however, is about how God doesn't want anyone to perish and how He wants everyone to come to repentance.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I believe it is God's work to show you all that you should keep Jesus's commandment listed in John 13:34-35. If any of you do not know what love is, first off, it is God, according to 1 John 4:8, also, it is literally defined in 1 Corinthians 13, also defining God, since God is love. I ask you all to replace the word Love with the word God, because, once again, God is Love 1 John 4:8

Love is keeping God's commandments.

Wow, I've seen some people take stuff out of context before; you're raising it to an art form.

Let's look at that verse IN CONTEXT:

Matthew 5:3-12
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

That's all about stuff that happens AFTER YOU DIE, not while you're here on Earth.

I first want to thank everyone who says they will pray for me, and I am praying for you all as well, it does not bring joy to me to see you all with such hatred towards other men, especially those who disagree with you.

Also something I forgot to mention was that the scriptures he posted did not say anything about God hating the people having the things mentioned, but the actual things mentioned (example: lying tongues, feet that are quick to run into evil, haughty eyes) not the people themselves. He wishes for the people to come to repentance, as mentioned in 2 Peter 3:9, not for the self-righteous to attempt to affirm their faith through the wicked's deeds. As I was taught when I was young, "Love the sinner, but hate the sin".

You would have us believe God doesn't hate the people who do the things mentioned in Proverbs 6:16-19; He only hates their eyes, tongues, hands, hearts and feet. You are ignoring the fact that these body parts belong to the sinner and that "heart" in this context means "soul." You are are also ignoring verse 19, which says God hates a false witness (a person) and he who sows discord.

Prov 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

And you think God hates the sin but loves the sinner? If that were the case, wouldn't He burn sins in hell for eternity instead of sinners?

The verse I quoted said that "God is not willing for one to perish" meaning that he wishes for all to go to heaven in my opinion. We have a loving God, who does in fact serve out tough love to those who exalt themselves and need to be rebuked properly, but scripture states that those who humble themselves will be exalted, and the Son's of God, aka the workers for peace according to the beatitudes, I believe he does not have many quarrels with.

So you make no attempt to reconcile your interpretation of 2 Pet 3:9 with Prov 16:4 or Rom 9:20-24. You just ignore the last two passages completely.

All people are victims of demonic oppression and temptation, and should not be condemned for such, because we will be judged and condemned in the same manner and potency that we dish it out. Also, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

You seem to be blaming sin on demons, but even if there were no demons to tempt people, they would still sin because the human heart is by nature evil, and sinners are incapable of doing good.

Jer 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Also, I am not unsaved trash, I Love my lord and savior Jesus, and no one on this site, or in the universe can separate me from his love. Nor is it healthy to portray the ideas that the church determines anybody's fate. Jesus himself, in his glory, spoke out against the Pharasees who blocked the paths of those trying to go to heaven, luckily I am not phased because I know who I am in Christ without anybody's opinion, but I believe the Lord would want this organization to treat their visitor's more kindly and with hospitality.

I think why a True Christian™ would be perplexed by your posts is that you seem to think of Jesus as a nice gentleman who loves everyone.

My question to you is thusly onefold: when Jesus send whole swathes of humanity to Hell for eternal torture what does that tell us about His character?

The Jesus I know is the Jesus of the Bible: not one created by fluffy minded liberal vicars who only want the get bums on pews. Jesus is a stern master who promises eternal paradise in Heaven for obedience to His Word.

What version of Jesus do you worship? The Jesus of the Bible (who is God) or the 21st Century PR spin version that is so far removed for Him that it may as well be Big Bird from TV?

Wrong. God hates heathens so much He wants them all dead, including elderly, women, and babies (see e.g. Deuteronomy 20:16).

Wrong. Read the Bible. Examples off top of my head: Psalm 5:5-6, 137:9, Matthew 13:38-42, Hosea 13:16.
