You're being evasive. Do you think that choosing one verse will help you dismiss everything else that is in the Bible? Are there actually some verses that you can just ignore and disregard? Isn't all the Bible equally valid and inspired by the Holy Spirit? Don't you think that God's words are equally precious even if they don't fit your preconceptions? Ignoring His message is iniquity and, guess what, it makes God hate you. Present tense, ongoing action:

Psalms 5:5
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity

That is not necessarily a safe assumption. Belshazzar thought lightly of damnation too which, incidentally, only comes in ETERNAL. There is no such thing as DAMNATION LITE. So he had a great party going on, the concubines were all out, much merriment was in the air. "Oh silly God," this foolish king thought to himself. "Let's worship some idols [snaps fingers] You! Oil me up! [looks around, leering] those three for starters.."

Three concubines leave off insulting God and head for the alcove where foul idols are displayed with some opulent cushions. They can hardly stand up but that's not actually in their job description so when they get tangled up and all fall down there's cheers and whistles everyone excited now the sin is really about to get started. But this poor freak didn't have a century or even a month left to repent as he thought. Well, there's no reference to his thinking about repenting as such just to the amount of time he had left. Repenting was one of the things he could have done. It's something you could do too. God could smite you tonight just as He smote Belshazzar.

During Belshazzar's feast as he was mocking God a disembodied hand

This exciting account from history shows us how God is is control. Even if you think He isn't. You can makes jokes about living and jokes about God and even jokes about Christians and then just as you get to the punchline or settle down with the concubines or whatever you're doing God can decide you're time is up. What happens next is eternal. Bliss or horror. Choose your eternity today while there's still time.

My point is that none of us knows what truly happens when you die. You could be right or wrong, or maybe even both of us are wrong, but we won't know until it's too late.

For anyone against science, it's potentially our best hope of finding answers to which religion is right, if any of them are right at all.

Again in Daniel we read that God enables those who love Him to understand science.

God, who does know the future including what happens after we die because He made the world and everything in it and also made time, has explained that not all science is reliable.

What you wrote here shows your deep ignorance of what science is all about. In contrast to religions, which deal with faith, science is all about knowledge based on empirical evidence. You don't need faith for something that you have empirical evidence for; and you will not be convinced by any empirical evidence if your faith is strong. Hence, if, hypothetically, future science finds some empirical evidence suggesting that some form of "conscience" survives the death of an organism, that would not change anything. People for whom empirical data stands above faith would keep following science rather than surrender to faith, and people for whom faith is more important than data would disregard all science they don't like anyway. Hence, it's definitely not our "best hope."

One minor mistake: God LOVES Germany. He only hates their politicans.

And it's a bit weird that God does not hate Metal, but Jazz and Indie.
