    Canadian Heart,

Gee, obviously they have updated their range since I last looked. Now that one IS a lovely ensemble, isn't it? However I personally would still be conscious of my upper arms showing. I suppose that could be remedied if around gentlemen (other than my husband) by having a nice matching shawl.

    Great Find!

We swim, we don't have an orgy. Nudity is not, in and of itself, an invitation to sex.
    Yes it is.

Of course you can't look at somebody's naked body without consequences! Look at what happened to Canaan - and he didn't even look at anybody! You want evidence? THAT'S evidence!

    Perhaps you're a hermaphrodite?

That is the beauty of them Sister! There is really no cling at all when referring to the top and the over-skirt; as you can see they are made a little "oversized" but still attractive.

Obviously though the underpant 1/2 leggin does embrace the thigh, but not in a clingy fashion at all. I think the testimonies on the website speak for themselves as to modesty ALWAYS prevailing when wearing this attractive, fashionable and modest garb.

It is the best of all, IMO. Being able to enjoy the pool and beach activities, whilst still complying to God's word.

Certainly choices in clothing are far less important than many other issues in the Christian life. Nevertheless, clothing was important enough for God to give a few specific instructions in the Bible through the writings of Moses, Paul and Peter. Besides these, some further insights can be obtained by studying other Biblical references to clothing and adornment, especially for we gals.

1 Timothy 2:9-10. Paul's first letter to Timothy offers many instructions to Timothy about what to teach to the churches and how to deal with various controversies and false teachings. In chapter 2, Paul touches on some specific instructions regarding we Christian women.

'In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

1 Peter 3:2-4. The apostle Peter, writing to the churches in Asia Minor, also addressed much of the same issue as Paul did. After teaching submission to governing authorities and of slaves to their masters, he then begins to address Christian wives, saying, “In the same way ...”. He urges wives to be submissive to their husbands and explains how important this can be in winning an unbelieving or back-slidden husband to Christ. In verses 3-4, he further instructs the wives:

"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."

The aforementioned "Simply Modest" range cover all these elements!!

No need for worry at all Sister Charli!

@ Sister Lisa... Gosh.. I thought of you when I saw the orange number! It IS quite striking, isn't it!

I don't know what others may think of these, but now I am married, I DO find these at least suitable for swimming and lounging briefly (after all chores done of course) beside the pool at home.

Admittedly I was a little worried that my arms and calves show, but James has assured me that he sees nothing untoward for home use and even if we had a BBQ and pool party at our place, this would be appropriate attire for all the gals to adorn.

    What do you think?

They come in a variety of colors so no-one would have to risk turning up in the same bathers which can be quite the conundrum. Like you too Sister BIG, I had issue with the pant design included, but as they are not a LONG pant, and as they are made of a lycra material, more like an opaque pantyhose, and as men do not wear pantyhose, we would not be going foul of Deuteronomy 22:5.

Here is a link to the site for them and the good news is, we can buy them online.

Here is a little of the information:

We wanted to be able to enjoy water sports unhindered, and still be dressed in a way that would be honoring to the Lord and the men around us. We were tired of piecing things together and layering shorts or t-shirts over a swimsuit which ended up feeling bulky and unattractive. Why don't stores offer more options for women to cover up? We knew we weren't the only ones looking for an alternative. Whether their reasons were for sun protection, modesty, or covering up a scar left from a recent surgery, women are searching for more options! We saw a great need for modest swimwear, a swimsuit that would be safe in the water and also beautiful and stylish!

    Stylish indeed!

    Praise Jesus!

I do love the orange one. What a practicable design. I like how it has low hang top if you know what I mean.

Sister B.I.G very valid points. I just had a look at those outfits. They may appear appealing, but the logo on this one looks like it say Jihad

decent swimsuits are hard to find and wet fabric clings to the body shamelessly! because of this, my pastor told the ladies of the church not to swim in public places. instead, we have "ladies night" at a neighbor's backyard pool once a week when the weather is hot.

romans 12;1,2 i beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of god, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing unto god, your reasonable service. and be not conformed to this world; but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect will of god.

You are a confused walking contradiction! One minute you are saying people's thoughts are their own and the next you expect people to be just like you, or should be like you.

You barge in giving your trash "thoughts" even on here, so I reckon you are a control freak. No wonder your husband won't play along with your sordid sex game naked gang bangs with your whoreish friends.
