What is a "yeast infection"?

@all I visited Doctor Manning and he said I might have a "yeast infection". He did some thorough "looking" to determine that. I am glad I can trust him. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Didn't your mother tell you not to eat raw bread dough? That's how you get a yeast infection.

Well they can be caused by a number of things. Have you been stressed about things? Have you been taking antibiotics? Those are the two most common reasons.

You could eat lots of yogurt, that helps sometimes. Or ask your mother to go and get special medication at the pharmacy for you.

They are quite common young lady. Mrs. Porter was yapping a while back about having one, but I told her to keep it to herself and that no one wanted to hear about such a disgusting thing. We've already raised our children and I could care less about the health of her filthy parts.

But you are a young lady with a future of bearing children for Jesus, so it's important that it is addressed. However I am I am concerned with the prescribed treatment. I trust Dr. Manning is treating the condition with an oral medication? That you will certainly not have to apply medications or touch yourself in any way "down there"?

@Brother Harold Porter Dr. Manning did have something oral I had to do that he assured me would help. It was a bit weird and he asked me not to talk about it but I am sure he knows what he is doing.

Yes a man can catch a yeast infection, but it's rare. Mostly in men with poor immune systems, we just don't have all those hormones screwing with our system. Anyway, who wants to touch a woman when she has one :puke: And trust me you will know if your wife has one.

Basically avoid her if she is taking antibiotics for some reason. That seems to be what triggers it in Liz.

Uncircumcised men with poor hygiene are more prone. As Brother Seth said, when women are on antibiotics they often get it. My wife Sarah had it a few times and, believe me, we were not at all interested in trying to make little soldiers for God at those times.

But as Felicity has found out there is a single dose oral medication for it now.

Rebekah got a yeast infection once. I can not even begin to imagine what unseemly perversions led to the LORD smiting her lady bits in that manner. What possesses women to put bread in their britches?

Now I pick up a small amount of bread each day after work, and we immediately consume it as a family so that Rebekah does not again fall into temptation.

Sister BIG, up until I married Phebe, I was not home more than 2 or 3 days a month. I stayed very busy with my business, lots of trips. Shoot I have been home for 6 days straight. I have never taken a vacation that long before.

Basically we all have a form of yeast living in our body. Have you ever heard of thrush? It's the same infection only in a woman's private parts.

You can tell when your wife has it because she will do anything to scratch. There have been times where I have eyed the Brillo pad and thought of using it to scratch. Also there will be what looks like cottage cheese down there.

It is quickly cured with the right medication. My mother used to actually use a weak borax solution to kill it. As for the symptoms in men, I have heard it makes your tallywhacker so itchy you want it to fall off.

Yes I know TMI. As I said, it's another of God's punishments placed on us women. and the two reasons I know of that women get it is using birth control (a sin) and using antibiotics.
