Re: My uncle gave me a pearl necklace!

I sometimes give my granddaughter a peal necklace, she loves them, I only give it to her for a while then give it back for her to wear another time when she ahs been a good Christian girl.

Could you please show me where the Bible says Hell is some wild orgy of fun?

My Bible says it is God's vast Lake of Fire, and that after Judgment, you and all other sinners will be cast into it and burned alive. You will be unable to die and unable to escape, so you will be burning for all eternity.

Hell is not accurately depicted in Little Nicky.

    May I help?

Seeing as I am, being a terrifying mix of Roma, Presbyterianisterite, Belgianerista and English non-homamahexualist-hating CofE and four stringed musicalist, I am guaranteed VIP entry backstage into Satan's backrow lineup, perhaps I could help all you God fearing ladies?

Rather than you take such shame and sin from the men in your lives, send your errant spouses, uncles and other menfolk to me - allow me to assist the men in unloading their heavy burdens upon my person and I shall therefore take my punishment knowing that I have at least protected some good and godly souls from my neverending torture at a ten thousand year long jamming session with other sinners, such as Elvis and his gluttony, John Lennon and his hippy ways, Waylon Jennings and everything, Phil Lynott, all those sinners I shall be forced to play bass for as my eternal punishment.

Of course, if you were to suggest that, along with the mighty beads adorning my personage, your men were to free you by placing gold, the threads for braids, the fine clothes and jewels, cash and all other worldly, heathen goods into my hands, perhaps this would free you all even more for your trip upwards at Rapturetide, a bit like losing some ballast for a balloon trip........

This (and similar) products are available to suit a range of keyboards and are very popular in the Landover rehabilitation homes where they prove effective against demons. (illustration shows efficacy during poltergeist activity)

Ezekiel 16:11-13 as well, Bible Bill. I hope that helps you.

And I hope you get the demons in your keyboard evicted.

Perhaps there is a demon in your keyboard? To be on the safe side you could burn it.

But Andy, that verse is strictly speaking of women adorning themselves in modest apparel. It speaks nothing of when a man gives a necklace of pearl to that woman.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say it is a way that the man is symbolically giving his love for Jesus to the woman.

    Matthew 13:45
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls

We as men must show our lord which women we deem fit for Heaven by casting a necklace of pearl on all women who's souls will surely reside with us in the Kingdom of Heaven. You must make certain that the receiver of your pearl strand is worthy, however.

    Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

    Praise Jesus!

A pearl necklace on a blonde woman is most pleasing. It gives her a pure and innocent look.

Firstly thank you Mr Bob for your reprimand, it is difficult for some people to concentrate when dashing Spaniards revolting perverts pop up. Thank God I am not one of them.

@MissesKat&Gurl83 I do admire Mrs Whitford's strength of character and know that God does not approve of any sort of jewellery. However when I was growing up we had a fancy dress box and I would often be getting into it with vivid brocades and bizarre masks - NO idea where they came from, although I have seen similar things at some of the electronica events where I work (most of them are fancy dress). Quite often we would put on a little show for other family members. You know it was funny but the sillier we were the more we seemed to be appreciated!

Naturally we would never go outside looking like that but I recall that there were lots of little rings and fancy curly slippers (for when we did Aladdin) and glinting gems and lace and creamy pearls, we had such fun but it would be wholly inappropriate for me to dress that way now and I never think about it. Mrs Whitford will be able to advise whether fancy dress, within the home environment, is appropriate behaviour for young women of your age and she has I know been guided by her husband, Mr Whitford, in this as in all other matters. I'm sure she would welcome your contacting her with any questions you have about unsuitable clothes, stick with what she says and do whatever she suggests - I know you will be in safe hands with her, 100%
(and thanks both for getting us back on track).
