Ladies, please be careful when opening your mail, facebooks, tweets, and etc. There is an "open letter" circulating that is quite harmful to girls as it inspires dissatisfaction with having been "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) as a woman to be obedient to her father and then husband. This isn't a matter of inferiority but a matter of abomination. True Christian™ women aren't "inferior" to men because we have been made specifically to meet the needs of those in authority over us. To suggest we are inferior is to suggest the Creator made a mistake. Instead, we know that God does not make mistakes, therefore homosexuality is a choice and a blatant attempt to offend the LORD. It is an offense as per God's own perfect plan.
As you can see, this open message is designed to promote rebellion. Please be sure to remind your daughters and younger sisters of the danger of rebellion and girls thinking they know theology. Perhaps families could do an in depth study of Genesis chapters 1-3 in which we are introduced to God's perfect creation and subsequent destruction by Eve, the world's first rebel. Thanks to Eve, sin entered the world and through sin, death and destruction.
