    Re: Jesus' Foreskin Stolen

Six days? What does this mean? Let's dwell on that, shall we? Now, who created the universe? God, of course. Who wrote the Bible? God, of course. So from what vantage point is the story of creation told? God, of course. Now if the top of Mt. Everest represented God and the center of the Earth represented man, the distance would still not be enough. God is infinitely better than us. So, is it possible that He, not being on Earth, does not tell time by Earthly standards? What are billions of years to God? They could be as if they were only six days. The Bible and evolution don't contradict, after all.
So you're saying that God, who indeed is infinitly better than us (and thus must know everything!):
DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A DAY IS?

Your argument is utterly retarded, both biblically and logically..

You are an ignorant fool. Read the article. Do you know the first thing about Catholic idolatry? Are you going to deny their age-old practise of worshipping relics? And who wouldn't want it? Do you think there is something disgusting about Jesus?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

So Kev, what you're saying is:

God wrote the Bible for humans to read, yes? He's omniscient, knowing all past, present, and future, and so would not need a written record for Himself. It's not as though He had to file taxes and needed receipts for Creation expenses, correct?

God decided, in His infinite Wisdom, to say that He created something in six measures of time called "days" which to Him, were not actual "days" but actually millions of Earth years.

So, by your logic, God decided to write "millions of Earth years" as "days" in order to confuse humans and deceive them. Sound about right? If not, what other explanation could there be?

God didn't know what a day was?

God didn't directly guide the Bible's writers, and knowingly and intentionally allowed them to spread false doctrine?

God's watch kept stopping, so He lost track of time?

        Other (fill in the blank)?

OK. How do you decide which parts of the Bible are to be taken literally, and which are not? Are you God?

The Bible says it's God's Word. I guess you think only part of it is God's Word, and that you have the ability to discern which is and which is not!
Did you notice that the days progress in the order that evolution occurred? God did make it all, He just did it over a longer amount of time.
And your source for this theory is what? Your imagination? The Pope? Father Feelgood? The Great Teachings of MOM?
In regards to the four corners of the Earth statement, it's an expression. It does not literally mean the Earth has four corners. People use the expression all the time today. Also, you need to factor in that these people barely knew much outside of immediately surrounding Asia, Africa, and Europe. To flat out say that the world was round to such a primitive people would be to ensure that everyone thought you to be a lunatic and did not believe anything you said.
So . . . when God wrote the Bible, He was concerned that people -- His creation -- would think HE was a lunatic? In order to avoid such an outcome, you're saying He once again lied in the Bible, to intentionally deceive people?

OK, so God told people the world was flat, even though He knew better, and told His people to go burn at the stake anyone who denied it. Yeah, that sounds like a just and honest God. Perhaps you just think God has a really sick, sadistic sense of humor, and likes to watch people be tortured to death, and then tortured in Hell for eternity?

Tell me, when He played His practical joke on Abraham (hey, go sacrifice your kid to me . . . PSYCHE!), do you think Abraham thought He was perhaps a bit touched in the head? Yet God wanted that recorded in His Word.

No, I don't think your argument holds water. God's not concerned how His creation perceives Him!
It would be as if I told you that the world actually exists in four dimensions, but you can't notice it. They would put me in an asylum and discredit everything I've said. In regards to age, I shall be 15 in February.
Everything you've said has attempted to discredit the Bible. You prefer to listen to Mom and Father Feelgood and the Pope in Rome than God's Word, which sits there on the shelf gathering dust.

Meanwhile, your arguments have no logic and are indefensible, as I've shown above. YOU discredit your own words.
