Holy See: Priests? We employ Priests?

The legal strategy of the Vatican is now becoming clear. It is claiming that the child molesting Priests were not employees of the Vatican, but were employed by branch of the church far removed from Rome.

Now, as a politician, I can see the logic of what they are doing. "Who me? Sure, they were trained under our policies and directions. We wrote memos about what to do with Priests that get into trouble. But, when we get sued we had have no idea who these priests are."

For the average person out there, especially us Baptists, it looks like a slimy operation.

Well it does seem that Ratzinger learned well from his Nazi masters. Deny, deny, deny.

The guys up top don't know what the guys below them are doing. The guys in the lower levels were "just following orders".
