You do realise that USA, like Australia, was also originally used as a convict colony by the British?

Australia is not made up of just convicts, their descendants and aboriginals. There are many nationalities here, including Americans, and it is actually one of the most desirable places to live in the world! Show me a man who thinks race-mixing is not an abomination unto God, and I'll show you a man who hasn't read Ezra 9-10.

Ezra 10:3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

If you have a dark-skinned husband or wife and a bunch of little half-breed mongrels running around, the way to get right with God is to just abandon them. both of those are out of context. Deuteronomy was about making sure the Israelites completely conquered the promised land, and nehemiah about keeping their enemies out because they posed a threat to security. It was to do with protection of their land, and nothing to do with them being 'knuckle draggers'.

And Billy Bob, it was a simple question. Why can't you answer it?
