        How can you make a statement like that. It contradicts itself in every way you try to read it.

Then you have people that decide they don't like certain passages written or translated however they came to be so they decide they will re-write it to make it sound the way they want it to be understood. And that's where you come down to cults like yourselves or like the problems in the Middle East. Cause then you get a cult leader like your pastor pushing these radical views onto you. And it works wonders. Because religion is an easy thing to use to control big groups of people. It keeps them scared, it keeps them dumbed down and easy to control. And this is were it starts. You people can't even see it. It's obviously started with collecting as much money as possible and having to attitude of wanting to take over the country. Then what, you go from a cult to a terrorist cell helping to fund weapons of mass distruction. Your falling fast people wake up before it's too late.

        And if you don't believe me go research some history and you will find religion has been the best weapon to control people. The Greeks, The Romans, The Nazis and the Landover Baptist Church

          You're just being ridiculous now. You're just taking half a sentence out of context. I could equally well quote you as having said "you people...accept anyone outside of your little... circle", but it wouldn't be a fair representation of your views, now would it?

          Yes, but are you really claiming God can't make Himself clearly understood if He wants to? God clearly states in the KJV that "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou
          shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." (Psalm 12:6-7), so how could He allow His words to become corrupted?

                Yes I'm claiming that. God can't do that through us as people. One good reason is because he also gave us free will. And as soon as a person has free will they have the choice to believe what they want or listen to what they want. Or change something as they believe they understand and believe it should be. So as anything written down in the first place could be currupted by free will any copy of a bible ever written and translated into English is currupted. Because as we know there are always language barriers and translations between them can be very currupt due to no real translation for some words or phrases. So anything in the KJV is currupt.

                All you need to do is live life by your own free will. Because if God didn't intend that he wouldn't of given it to us. And if it's your free will includes to be a good person and be good to your fello man then that's even better. In the end you will be judged before you enter, good or bad. There's no free pass just cause you were good. So why would you restrict the rest of your life living by a currupt book.

                Do you think at the end of the day when you stand before God that he won't say to you "I gave you free will to do what you wanted to do in life and your choice was to restrict your life to believe in a book that others wrote with their free will. If you didn't restrict yourself in life you would of been the one to cure cancer". Don't you think he would be disappointed that you restricted your life instead of living life to it's fullest. Setting your own goals with your own free will and accomplishing them.

                Just a thought anyway. Cause I don't restrict the free will of my thoughts to others thoughts printed in a book

                      Wow, such a long thread, as an Australian can i just sort of throw something out here? Didnt read through the thread, although judging by some of the ignorance here i didnt have to.

                      AUSTRALIANS didnt apologise to the Aborigines. The Australian Government did on behalf of mistakes earlier elected officials made. And the Aborigines forgave them.

                      Be good to research things before you post.

                      Secondly, not everyone in Australia is a convict or decendant of one. We are a multicultural country. You wont appreciate it if everyone thought your country was full of redneck yahoos.

                      Lastly, why was Jesus sacrificed for our sins that were not even committed? Im yet to have a decent explanation to that. I can understand him being murdered for the sake of those who sinned before his death, but sorry i dont buy into it being post-death.
