What can anyone expect from a "country" populated by criminals? Every person who came to the United States did so of their own free will, wanting to make better lives for themselves and their families. Everyone sent to Autistralia was banished there to protect decent folk from their criminal ways.

I've went to the US for my honeymoon in 2006. Best way to describe it would be a beautiful country full of screwed up, ignorant people. Ever been on the Greyhounds? Now that's what I call trash!!! Why is it that everywhere you go in the states and buy something, like a meal, no one ever says "Thank you". American's have absolutely no manners. I clearly remember friends of ours driving us to Atlana airport to get to San Francisco. We stopped at a Wafflehouse and we said Thank You" to the waitress when she gave us our food. She did a double, nearly in tears she said "Oh my god, no one ever said thank you to me before". Most of the time you say thank you to someone you either get "Mmm Hmmm" or some sort of grunt. Completely different story once you get over the border into Canada though. People have manners there.

Oh, and as for calling us Aussies 'uneducated', many world wide inventions came about by the hands of an Australian.

Stump jump plough, Combine Harvester, Dynamic lifter fertiliser, Catamaran (boat), Differential (used in all cars), the ute (pickup truck), Black box flight recorder, the cement truck, Hills hoist, the electric drill, shoe polish, the 2 stroke lawn mower, garage roller door, xerox photocopier, refridgerator, wine cask, electronic pacemaker, bionic ear, penicillan, spray on skin, freestyle swimming stroke, in car race cameras (god bless bathurst). Should I go on???? Aboriginals aren't dumb either. They were the first people to use stone tools, design a stick that could come back to you when thrown, and an item that would enable you to throw a spear much greater distances (woomera).

I should also point out that we have such a strong economy while the US is on the brink of a recession with it's trillion dollar budget deficit. As far as I'm concerned this is the greatest country in the world.

Let me just say this: Unless the apology to the aboriginal people directly affects anybody in america then your opinions should be held conservative.

For one - talking about alcoholism??? facts are facts and Australia 's rate of alcoholism is less than america's.... so is the unemployment rate. Social security in america seems like a joke as people have to resort to "food Stamps." Homicide and related crime also is higher in america. But what has that got to do with Apologizing to the Aboriginals??? The first post made by Pastor Ezekiel opens up the argument in his derogatory statement.
