I am a little confused as to why a man so Godly would not just use a Rod as the Bible commands. I suppose you make do with what is on hand, or on foot as it were.

I think you hit the daughter on the head with this one. Mr. Dollar brought some of this on himself by not using a rod. When you are doing the Lord's work it doesn't pay to improvise. Mr. Dollar should have been better prepared. I always have a rod within arms reach for such situations. If I happen to be outside of the RV my wife is required to carry the rod and hand it to me on a moment's notice.

Mr. Dollar dug his own grave this time and I can only hope he has learned from his mistake.

Thank you, Brother Godfly, for bringing up the proper role of a wife in these family management matters.

This morning I read the disappointing news about Mrs. Dollar. She was in their home when Rev. Dollar straightened out this unruly daughter.

But, Mrs. Dollar did not say, "Yes, he disciplined her and I support my husband in anything he does."

Instead, she claims she brought a halt to the goings on and did not see the choking and slapping. There is a wife who needs improvement. I hope Rev Dollar takes it to her as well.

I just picked up this news, there is a groundswell of support for Pastor Dollar on the internet.

I read several tweets and Facebook posts. They overwhelmingly say the his daughter disobeyed him and had it coming.

Some posters said they have teenage daughters as well and look to how Pastor Dollar handled his "problem" as a great example. Read more here:

Yet Brother, I know you will find this difficult to believe, but some vile Negress is whinging about how this is all racism, an attack on Dollar not because he is a Christian who follows the Bible, but because he's black!

Almost once a year the media has a field day making a mockery of the Black church through the shortcomings and alleged criminal matters of a prestigious pastor. By no means should criminality in the pulpit be condoned. However, the alleged iniquities of a pastor capturing more notoriety than the philanthropy occurring inside churches daily should be considered sinful in and of itself....

And then the "editard" starts yammering about the Negress:

Everybody hates Creflo Dollar. Either because he's black (like the "victim mentality Negress") or because he's Christian (like the editard).

There is no way I would let my daughter go out shucking and jiving the way those young black girls do.

Don't get me wrong I think there is room for a woman to follow in her Daddy's footsteps as long as it remains decent and woman like.

Maybe Creflo should get her out on the street corner and teach her how to tap dance and play harmonica for nickels. At least that's decent and much better than stealing pies. It's just part of a negro's culture.

I was so relieved to read today our friend Creflo finally told everyone what they needed to hear.

He explained the entire event was a combination of his wayward daughter plus an effort by Satan to discredit his ministry. None of the other stories mentioned Satan by name, even though we all knew he was there. Satan is there at work whenever one of our evangelical pastors gets into trouble with the law.

Bringing Satan into the news coverage should end the whole thing. When it all goes before a judge, Creflo will explain all this and we will hear no more about it.

And, now, just what our friend Creflo does not need, the communist organization, NAACP, wading in on his behalf.

Creflo Dollar was only disciplining his daughter. This case is done. But, oh no, publicity seeking NAACP has to butt in and make it worse.

Today, it annouced law enforcement may have "overreacted". We did not need Russia's favorite group to tell us that. We need for the NAACP to not show it's leftest face anywhere near where we are trying to straighten things out.
