Why do Christians preach hate?


Matthew 22:37-39


37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.


It doesn't say love your Christian neighbor.


Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

What happened to 1 Corinthians 13? Matthew 7?



1 John 2:9-11

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.


10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.


How can we hate people who we don't even know when we are told to love even our enemies. I have read the bible cover to cover and I have found no passage where Jesus told us to hate.


Matthew 7 clearly states:


Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.


We have all fallen short.... and one sin is as great as any other (I trust you can find these scriptures yourself), so then should we all be exterminated? We are all sinners, that is why Jesus came and died.

Sikh violence is everywhere (it's in their "tradition"), all you have to do is use Google. Minister Indira Ghandhi was assassinated by two of her Sikh bodyguards, and the violence hasn't stopped, and they want their children to attend public school wearing daggers.

Their silly religion was started by someone named "Nanak" (no doubt from another planet – just like the mormons), and they believe all revealed "truth" comes from him and his successors (sounds kind of like the cathylicks and their "pope"). Both the mooselimbs and the hindaloos hate the Sikhs – which is reason enough to distrust them. They should all just go back to Punjab.

You are so filled with hatred, as a fellow Christian its hard for me to believe what I am seeing. You are heading straight for hell. Our lord and savior, Jesus Christ would not approve of any of this. You must repent, and pray for forgiveness. Please save your soul and open your eyes. Religion was created for the togetherness and love of man-kind. Not for the creation of hatred and racism. As I Christian I apologize on behalf of all of these people, do not mistake us as a whole for the actions of a few. I am deeply sorry for the losses of the Sikh community, and hope for you all to strengthen and rebuild. Amen.

Loving your enemies is to save them from hell. We need to tell them as Christian that they will burn in hell for all eternity, unless the convert to Christianity. This is what Jesus commands us to do. These sikh heathens does not believe in Him, so Jesus will throw them in hell. Turn or burn.

2 Timothy 4:1-2 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Fisrt of all.. I am Sikh.. I have no shame in stating this up front to you.. second of all.. I will not be angry or show any anger to you.. I will simply tell you the truth, to your questions, answers ,contradictions or accusations.

If you actually took some spare time to study Sikhi youll soon find out that instead of branding us or putting us in the same catagory as a Muslim... If you say to us.. First of all Mr Reveran, your quoting from the bible, let me just remind you look at how many times the bible has been changed over the last 100's of years, it's not authentic.

Secondly Jesus Chris never wrote the bible, therefore the Bible is not the words of Jesus Chris, therefore the Bibles not authentic.

Thirdly - Jesus Chris wasn't the true man of God, as he didn't accept Gods will, as when he was crucified, his exact words were "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" As true man of god would have said, oh God what you are doing is sweet and in your sweet will.

An unidentified Christian man (or so we must assume) was murdered by police today in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, as he attempted to purge the area of a 400-member Sikh temple.

The gunman was successful in removing 6 Sikhs from Wisconsin, but was killed before he could mop up the remaining 394. Instead, American troops began firing on him instead of the invaders!

Seriously?! If you are a TRUE Christian you should love, forgive, and accept others. Just because some follow a different path than your beliefs does not mean you have to belittle, disgrace, and/or make their beliefs seem like they worships demons/devils. The devil must be in your own life for you to say such negative disgraceful things. Learn something, expand your horizons, and have an open mind. I take pity on your "GODLY" souls. If you knew ANYTHING about the sikh religion you would know that they believe in ONE GOD and they do not worship to idols/statues because they believe everything/everyone is GOD. Even some Christian beliefs are in the Guru Granth Sahib (holy bible). Although i am so angry about some of the things being said on this "respectable" site i have nothing but love in my heart.
