    Denver mother needs advice on atheism-possessed daughter

    Letter to "Dear Margo" in the Denver Post:
    Dear Margo: Our daughter started college a year ago, and we've noticed during her visits home that she's not the sweet, innocent girl we sent away for higher learning. We raised her with strong Christian beliefs, but lately she's saying that she's joined an atheist club on campus and is questioning everything we taught her. Now my husband refuses to let her in the house and is threatening to turn her in to the FBI. I've tried to cure our daughter and reconcile with her, but nothing seems to work. I've prayed over her at night while she sleeps, enlisted friends in a phone prayer tree and even spoken to my priest about the possibility of an exorcism. I'm at my wits' end. How can I recover my daughter and keep her from hell? -- God-fearing

    Margo's answer is garbage, and I think our advice columnists here can do a far better job. Calling Dr. Laurie, Sister Talitha, and Mary Maria!

          Send 'em to Iraq. There's no atheists in foxholes - at least foxholes within grenade-throwing range of mine.

          But seriously, once they see how those without Jesus live - with sewage in the streets, unexploded bombs all over the place, total lack of law and order - the place has really fallen apart since Obama took over. I'm starting to think Iraq must have secretly legalize gay marriage without anyone finding out. What else can explain what a mess the place has suddenly become?

              You may be able to save your daughter if it is not too late. It will take a lot of hard, back breaking work. The blood, sweat and tears that need to be shed are for the noble cause of being True to God and a proper Christian. SI no uncertain terms, show your daughter the love, impress upon her that the damage she is doing is really hurting her and your efforts to turn her around will hurt you more than her, no matter how much she begs to differ. A few days of rigid effort, followed by a few weeks of summer outdoor prayer closet time with no interruptions should do the trick.

                      It's only a matter of time before Sweden, Norway, and the rest of those spineless weak-willed europeans fall to muslims and their damn Sharia law. Then you will see sewage in the streets, unexploded bombs, total lack of law and order, etc.
