    I hate "art"

Father God created us from the dust of the earth (well, technically speaking He created men from the dust of the earth, and women he derived from men and all of that, but you see where I'm going with this). Father God is an Artist nonplussed! What He breathes life into is ALIVE! And the question I have is why can't the vile Satanists who call themselves artists learn from the Master? Do artists today create works that inspire our Praise and Thanksgiving? that deepen our awe of the Holy Sacrifice? that enrich our Love of Church and Family? Sadly, not, is the answer we too often witness, when visiting the museums and galleries in our major metropolitan areas. NOT TO MENTION THE ACCURSSED INTERNET!! Was there ever a more decadent platform for Satan to self-pleasure himself upon? Take, for example, the awful site I found today. Repugnant and without Christian merit .... But reminding me once again why, ohhhhh, I hate "art," as you do, too.

Unfortunately for you, we are out of the Classical Roman period and into modern times. Art does not have to be 'godly'. It needs to be expressive. If you want every one to think just like you, how will you properly recognize the depraved ones?

If everyone thought like us, there would be no depraved ones. And I fail to see how a video of an unsaved demon wearing a blonde wig and repeatedly slamming his genitalia into a videocamera while repeating the phrase "how much art can you take?" over and over again - which, let's face it, is pretty much what most "modern art" comes down to - is expressive of anything except a hatred of Jesus. Look at that piece Brother Larry posted above. Is it expressive? Yes, it expresses a message of support for terrorism. Is it worthwhile? Should it be legal? Is it good for anything other than kindling? No, no and no!
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Is that that Silence of the Lamb movie you is talkin' about? Oh! I had seen that movie a few years back and that thang had scurred me somethin' fierce! After that movie had done went off, I had went to bed and I was seein'... what's his name.... Cannibal Hector? I was seein' him in the shadows everywhere I looked! Ooooo! I was punished over that, bein' so scurred that I was prayin' to Jesus the whole night! That had learned me not to ever watch them unGodly scurry movies. Ain't ever doin' that again... praise Jesus!

Indeed, Brother. Nontheless, we must follow the Biblical command to obey secular law, and feminazi demonesses like Hitlery Klingon and Nancy Pefloozie have twisted around the concept of freedom of speech beyond all recognition until it covers scandalous attacks on Old Glory, but not "hate" crimes.

No, that would bring us back to the 18th century.

I see. You want to come back to times when there weren't so many immigrants, the Jews didn't have Isreal and it was illegal to drive your carriage on a Sunday. If your deity favors YOUR faith, Jesus would have come back centuries ago and wouldn't even consider coming now.

Jesus will come to purify the world and rescue the faithful.

Why in the world would Jesus come back, if the world were already pure? You're just being silly.

Thanks for reminding me how much I love art, LL.

Maybe I should make an artwork of my own featuring landover baptist......but, I'm afraid I wouldn't have a big enough canvas to do life-sized pics of the pastors....not unless I drove to be able to cover the vast girth.. *snicker*

                            Ahem....back on topic.
That flag is a very accurate piece. Well done, kudos to the artist.
