To Brother Harold Potter, Skating for satan? What exctly are you refering too? The fact that I witness to kids at the skate park? The fact that I go on mission trips and am able to use my hobby to interact with others and share my faith with them? The fact that our local indoor skatepark has a Bible based worship service directed at the demographics of the skatepark-kids, every week? I don't assume that you just go to NASCAR races to vicariously play race car driver, or that you use your CB to do anything other than spread the word. Why would you assume the worst of me? Skating is fun, I don't deny it, but it's also one of my mission fields.
I, in all humbleness, request your understanding that we all have different gifts from God and we use them in different mission fields.

You might need another infraction, I don't know..

Rolling around on toys does not serve God. Ask yourself, would Jesus waste His time in such a trivial fashion?

Brother Harold Porter, Please help me understand why you fixate on the skating while totally ignoring my sharing God's Word and his Word being shared in an organized worship service at the skatepark. Going to these mission fields does nothing but gain soliders for Christ that otherwise would have been unsaved.
PS Concerning NASCAR, Watching people "Rolling around in toys does not serve God. Ask yourself, would Jesus waste His time in such a trivial fashion?" I am truely not questioning your intrest in NASCAR or how it affects your faith, I am humbly requesting the same respect for my hobby that I give for yours.

Thank you BAB for the Word. For what it's worth, I have been given infractions for quoting scripture that was allegedly "twisted" to apply as I wanted, not read "as a child would read it". Here I'm told to do the opposite, I'm so confused.

Mark 2:17 Need i say more? Oh well, when were you ever at a skatepark Brother Harold Porter? Or is it the media and/or youtube where you get this information? That doesn't go on at the parks I enjoy. You don't have to believe me but the proof is there. What about at your NASCAR races? Been there, everything you accuse skateparks of, and then a whole lot more, happens at the races, I have seen it(and moved on).

Mr TwoDollarBill, I hate to burst your bubble on this one, but you probably know many more skaters than you know you know. Its obvious that you think you know what all skaters wear/do/believe/..... We don't all dress in baggies, wear hoodies, or even celebrate less than thirty years of living. Yes I said we. I skate. And I'm turning 50 this year. No I'm not the only old man out there. It's sad that you haven't been exposed to the other side of skating, that you question the skills required, that you have never taken the time to notice the skate community.

Listen old man, I lived next door to a "skate park" for almost 15 years in California before moving to Europe. My wife's brother was one of these professional skateboarder people who actually got PAID to ride the thing. (Mind you he was one of the good ones, he only performed on a ramp and didn't do any of the graffiti stuff. Guy is ten types of stupid so probably couldn't scribble his own name on a wall if he wanted to...but that's another story.)

So, I am plenty familiar with all types of skating. There may be a few out there that are normal, but most of them are just hoodlums trying to look cool and be rebellious.

Nothing makes me madder than a hornets nest when I am driving my Kenworth on the road and some Homer in brightly colored spandex is on the road too. I pay road taxes, he doesn't. I am constantly having to pull over and get the bicycle frames uncaught from my undercarriage. It is always a bloody mess!

Kids PLAY football, basket ball, and baseball right? How is it normal for grown men to, "engage in the same activity invariably practiced by young boys?" You have made it clear that you don't know any normal skaters, young or old. I could give you links to sites to observe these normal people, but I have seen how these offers are taken as an attempt to draw members into an unholy site, I would never do that.
