Movie Theater Ethics: Do You Ever Watch More Tha

When I was younger I used to hop between the theaters and see more than one movie with just one ticket. Sometimes I would spend the whole day watching movies over and over again and just eat popcorn for lunch and dinner.

I learned later that this is basically theft of goods and services, so now when I go to the movies and want to see another one or watch the same movie again I make sure to go back to the ticket counter and buy another ticket.

    Does anyone else do this?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I don't have much to say on this because I have only been to a movie theater twice in my life. I consider theaters to be a hotbed of immorality.

Once was in my rebellious youth when I was out on the town for a wild night of fun with my unsaved friends, and the second was when I saw The Passion of the Christ. But to be fair, I went back to see it 6 times, so I guess I've been to the theater 8 times.

You didn't watch it six times in a row, did you?

Like Brother Bob said, movie theatres are dens of immorality. They are public liberal agenda indoctrination centers. Just like Leni Reifenstahl created propaganda films in service to Nazi Germany, so do people like Steven Spielberg and James Cameron create films with the express intent of brainwashing a gullible public into accepting homosexual marriage, race-mixing, women's rights, anti-Americanism, environmentalism, and a host of other anti-Biblical ideals.

If you don't believe me, just take a look at the Top Ten Grossing Films of 2010 and you will see they are nothing but radical liberal propaganda!

Toy Story 3: Homosexuality, talking inanimate objects, morality without God
Alice in Wonderland: Promotes drug-usage, lesbianism, cross-dressing, slovenly work ethic.
Iron Man 2: Debauchery, alcoholism, promiscuity, substitute for Jesus Christ in the form of a superhero.
Twilight 2: Vampirism, goths, Satan worship, witchcraft, the occult, teenage fornication, suicide, drugs.
Inception: Drug use, atheist philosophy, theft, mind control, Leonardo DiCaprio.
Despicable Me: Glorifies villains and sin.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One: Witchcraft, Satan-worship, recruiting children to the occult, idolatry of false gods.
Shrek Forever After: Makes children love the demon known as "Shrek", talking donkeys (outside of a Biblical setting), drug abuse, witchcraft.
How to Train Your Dragon: Puts dragons in a positive light, witchcraft, paganism, summoning demons, Satanism.
The Karate Kid: Racism, violence against children, Buddhism, smart-mouthed negro kids.

I stopped going to the movies when I was young. The seats in the balcony were always sticky. Sitting in the mezzanine, I was constantly getting spit on with glue stuff from the balcony.

I have Directv (with a 72" LED-LCD flat panel) in my office at home with all the channels, but to protect the rest of the family, they have a 19" Magnevox B&W with a rabbit ear. Gets Lynchburg stations just fine.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I sincerely hope you are not going to the movies without a chaperone.

I always go along as a chaperone when my teenaged niece goes to a movie. I take the responsibility quite seriously and have her sit on my lap. I really enjoy western movies with horse-chase scenes. I really get into those action sequences and find myself bouncing in the seat.

I'm usually exhausted when the movie ends and have a cigarette after leaving the theater.

I normally have an even constitution and exhibit the milk of human kindness towards my fellow man as an example of the Love of Jesus that infuses my heart. I was banned from the local movie theaters where I live when I screamed obscenities when they started showing commercials before the feature film. Needless to say, I have not been back since that time.

As far as I'm concerned, they should let you see the movie for free in exchange for watching the commercials - just like "free" over-the-air television.

My Husband used to complain about me carrying such a large pocketbook everywhere I go until we went to the movies, I saved us a lot of money by have our own drinks and snacks, the only thing I was unable to bring was the popcorn. Our children prefer the snacks I bring rather than the ones they sell.
