  • South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Deserves Better Than This

First, let's remember Gov. Kristi Noem is a BIG Trump supporter. She wears a 10 Gallon Hat and tells liberals where to head. Now they are making a feeble effort to harm her.

Kristi's 25 year old daughter applied for a real estate license and failed the requirements. At least that's what the bureaucrat said. Gov. Kristi had a visit with the bureaucrat and with the bureaucrat's boss. Quickly the daughter had her license. Shortly after that the bureaucrat was asked to retire.

What is wrong, I ask you, with any of that? Gov. Kristi had a visit about her daughters license. Governors talk to all kinds of people every day.

Leave it to Democrats to make a big deal out of nothing. With their socialism they are crooks to the max.

With those kind of smarts, Gov. Kristi's daughter should be senior advisor to the governor entrusted with a top level security clearance. And same goes for her husband. Perhaps he could reimagine the State government, or solve the crisis in the mid-West.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

One thing we need to get straight right now is that Kristi Noem's meeting about her daughter's estate license has nothing in common with President Joe's huge scandal helping his son Hunter.

You may recall when Biden was a VP, he arranged for Hunter to get a cushy job in some country, I think its's called Ukraine. Noem has called for Biden to resign because of the underhanded dealings to enrich Hunter.

The liberal press needs to get off this notion what Kristi did was the same thing as Biden. She merely had a meeting with a bureaucrat who had not issued her daughter a real estate license. The bureaucrat and the license was issued shortly afterwards. This does not mean cause-and-effect. The bureaucrat would have issued the license without the meeting I am sure. Yes, the bureaucrat was dismissed afterwards and some money changed hands. All this means simply that a mistake had been made. Let's stop this character assassination by the liberal press.

Someday, Gov. Noem's daughter might be as good at real estate as Donald Trump is.

I was a little disappointed Kristi fired Corey Lewandowski. Corey was big in the Trump circle. Trump got a kick out of him putting hands all over women and making them mad. He did quite a bit of that at Kristi's fund raising parties and for some reason she got all huffy.

I suppose Kristi's a little up tight with all that going on in our party. Still, she could lighten up a little.

What did Jesus do? In a similar situation, frequently, the authorities made decisions which went against God—as Jesus saw things—and since God is Jesus, surely His opinion is the important one? Here the Scribes and Pharisees are addressed directly in response to some nit-picking they had going on, even as they arrogated privilege to themselves at the expense even of parents over whom they ruled. Did Jesus let this maladministration slide? No. He did not.
Mark 7:1,9-13 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem . . . And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

They'd cooked up a system employing Vatican-style methods to get their mitts on the stuff whether they were morally entitled to it or not (and of course they weren't) the acid test being: who suffered as a result? But Jesus knew that decisions have consequences and where are the Pharisees today?

The parallel is exact. Seeking a stable business opportunity enabling the means to care for a parent in later life: the authorities had a different idea. Nit-picking over details would free the daughter from any obligation she'd taken on board to provide in the future, bureaucracy opined, and sure enough the Pharisees have a new recruit among their ranks, beyond the pale with goblins.
