  • I'm raising my own debt ceiling!

I did a lot of thinking about it and took a vote and decided that it would be a good idea to raise my debt ceiling, too. I have four months until about Thanksgiving to work out a new plan. Don't be surprised if I don't bring a bottle of wine to Thanksgiving dinner this year. I might still be working out my budget.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Brother Nobar, you certainly have my vote to raise it. I'd suggest going as high as you can to eliminate having to do it periodically. Max it out so it is never a concern again. It is the American way.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I think that's a brilliant idea, Brother Nobar.

Here's the way I look at it: I keep hearing nonsense on the LIEberal news about "passing the problems on to our grandchildren" etc. etc.

I'm no fortune teller (Leviticus 19:31) but I reckon my grandchildren stand a very good chance of falling into the liberal traps of gaming, AutoTune and reality TV, so why should I make it easier for them to be lured by the siren call of those abominations?

No, I think it's better to saddle them with a debt so overwhelming that they are compelled to seek and follow Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the only Power strong enough to save them.

It's true that this is already being done on a national scale, but knowing we can do our part individually is heartwarming.

      Yours in Christ,

      Zech

The government needs to be spending more money on the U.S. Military in order to spread the Word of God to every corner of this planet the way we did when GWB was president. These liberals have it all wrong as usual. Anyway, Jesus will be showing up any second now and who cares about budgets? You should all be tithing everything you have to Landover Baptist!

Re: I'm raising my own debt ceiling!

Many of you are well aware that the budget for the Freehold Court system has been slashed by the Mayor. The cuts have been extended to the payroll and I have found myself looking for a modest supplement to my income.

I consulted Brother Free Market Freddy and he suggested I establish a legal consultation service for those needing guidance in the court system.

On the very day I opened the doors to “HTannor Judicial Wheel Greasing Consultants” my first customer arrived and handed me this deposition:

“One year ago a doctor gave me 6 months to live and the Lord decided not to punch my ticket. I followed the doctor’s medical instructions and my local church sat nightly prayer vigils for me.

I figured as long as I was a goner why should I give my money to the money changers [bill collectors].

I was in my doc’s office yesterday and he said there was no sign anywhere of the deadly disease.

Good news you say. Well I have a year of unpaid bills, 3 new financed cars, a mortgage I could never afford if I were not planning on the wife cashing in on the mortgage insurance. Not to mention that I have not worked a day in the last year and have lived quite well on 6 now maxed-out credit cards.

My question is this, who should I sue? The doctor and his misdiagnosis or the prayer group for interfering with God’s plans”

Further questioning of this client reveled:

-A group of joo lawyers working for the credit card companies have filed suit to collect the overdue monthly payments.

-The doctor in question received his medical degree from the University of Tijuana in a twelve month correspondence course dealing mainly with “holistic” medicine.

-The client’s wife is so upset about missing out on the mortgage insurance; she posted a “Hit Man Wanted” notice on Craig’s List.

-The client’s dog, a Godly Rottweiler, was expecting his master to croak, and will now only play “fetch the stick” if the client has a pork chop tied around his neck.

-The church in question is of the Unitarian persuasion.

My immediate recommendation is to after the prayer group on the charge of establishing a phony religion and raising false expectations.

Brothers, if you have additional thoughts on this economic travesty, please let me know.
The Honorable HTannor (Pro NRA, Anti-Homer Marriage), Judge, Freehold Supreme Court

Re: I'm raising my own debt ceiling!

I suggest suing everyone, and let them blame each other. Let them go though the time and expense of battling each other, digging up the evidence. Then all you have to do is refer to the legal transcript to determine the responsible parties once the dust has settled.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
