  • Will those the Gospel has Not Reached Go To Hell? You Betcha

I can't tell you how many good people in Freehold have told me this: "People in deepest dark Africa or in the middle of the dessert in Saudia Aribia who have never heard the Gospel are innocent and will go to heaven." I hate to tell them they are wrong, but they are.

Psalm 51:5 explains why those in remote places in the world, in places not yet reached by Landover Baptist and have never heard Pastor Zeke preach, are sinners. It is because the Bible tells us clearly all people are born sinners, "...in sin my mother conceived me." To put it bluntly, if we white people in the West are born sinners, so are those in every corner of the globe. It does not matter if the Gospel has reached them or not, they are headed to hell.

Those "unreached" have even fewer excuses as technology moves forward. Cell phones are common in remote areas. People can find us here at Landover Baptist. If they are too lazy to log on, they get the eternity they deserve.

That was going so well, until the very end:
And it's not to waste your life [carving] out a comfortable Christian spin on the American dream. You were created for so much more than this,'" he concluded.
Am I to understand the American dream is something other than applied Christianity?

A sort of pure theory upon which multiple veneers may be overlaid?

Surely that would mean there was an atheist American dream (with a comfortable atheist spin) or a demoniac American dream (with a comfortable demonic spin) or even a sodomite American dream (with a comfortable anal spin) ? ? ?

Name the heresy or demon of your choice, any revolting idol you like, any high priestess presiding over any depraved temple, all could be veneered upon the pure theory according to taste all at the same time, it follows if such people all exist at the same time, but apart from that it was an interesting read.

    In Christ.

Thank you, Brother Mayor, for your courage in stating an unpopular, but Biblically-supported truth.

There is just so much that the Fluffy Bunny "Christians" do not want to accept about their supposedly Bible-based faith.

It may be worth asking them if anyone, anywhere, could get into Heaven without faith in Jesus, then why did Jesus have to die in the first place?

Jesus made it clear in John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the light." Just because someone was born and grew up in a deep dark jungle somewhere does not change that. The inevitable and unavoidable rule is, get with the program.

Brothers and Sisters, thank you for this timely message from The Christian Post. I remember as a child asking the Pastor if everyone born before the time of Jesus had gone to Hell, even though God would know He was condemning them to Hell without any chance of salvation? Yes.

Same for those unsaved souls in Africa - they are basically condemned to Hell. We know God doesn't care that much, but we can nevertheless do something to save them with a donation to the Church. I'll let Pastor Platt persuade you:

"We spend most of our money on ourselves. We give some of our money to churches and ministries. And we spend most of that money in churches and ministries on making ourselves more comfortable in our churches and ministries. And then there's a small percentage of the money that we give to churches and ministries that goes toward what we normally call missions overseas to other countries. We're fooling ourselves if we think we're passionate about giving to missions while we're ignoring 3 billion people who've never heard the Gospel."

Edit: please don't send donations directly to Pastor Platt, but rather to Pastor Zeke who will bless your donation for a small cut.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I'm not sure how starving missionaries would share with those billions, despite the fact of trillions [USD] having been lavished upon them over the last hundred years. And yet still there are places where Christians are strung up on sight, more or less, suggesting that they HAVE heard The Gospel in order to be able to identify a Christian in the first place. Otherwise it would be, “Crazy person come from land far away many seas tell strange tales,” rather than, “It's another Christian; string it up..” (or run it through) “..and dump..” (or eat) “..it like the last one.” Why would they do that?

I'm glad that persons who haven't heard the Gospel are going straight to Hell. They are unrepentant sinners who totally deserve eternal torture. Plus, who wants to be in Heaven with a bunch of illiterate savages?

The same applies to unsaved children. I don't want Heaven to be filled with sinful, snot-nosed kids running around on the lawn of my Heavenly mansion.

God is right to damn these people to Hell.

You've raised an interesting point. A mature savage, a moon worshipper say, hears The Gospel before dismembering the missionary. Others in the village, or town, or even city where the news could be broadcast using print media (for the literate) such as stone slabs or by interpretive dance, learn what happened.

                newspapermagazine
                supplement
                picture
                book
                interpretive
                dance

This would be cast as the domestic culture having been preserved. In future, any missionaries need to be brought to the chief's attention. Would this ability to identify the Christian message and report it constitute having heard The Gospel?

I agree that it would be fairer to expose all heathens everywhere to The Gospel and make a record of when heathens had been warned about the consequences of their sins. Perhaps we could send stone monuments with missionaries saying THESE PEOPLE HAVE HEARD THE WARNING when they go into the field. After preaching, then, missionaries would merely chisel into the stone the date and no excuses would be valid after that.

All of this is not required by God, however, and it would be extra work and expense for those of us in the faith. Heathens need to take responsibility for their eternity themselves.

Would it be more persuasive to the savages to use technological wonders to shock and awe them out of their primitive beliefs? I mean, wouldn't they see the sky lit up with animated points of light that explode into fantastical patterns, and think: gee, our stone bowls and convoluted creation stories are kind of ridiculous aren't they, perhaps there's something else out there? I think they would find that convincing.

I believe they already have a product able to achieve that.

Sitting here laughing at the thought of some elderly Amazonian shaman who's never heard of Christianity lying down one night to sleep and waking up in the Lake of Fire, burning in agony with no idea why and no way to make it stop. When he's not blinded by sulfur he looks up and sees Jesus glaring down at him, arms crossed and shaking his head in disapproval. LOL

That's what happens to aborted babies too
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
                        Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

It's sad so many live in a fantasy world where they think everything turns out hunky dory. The real world is God's world where dire consequences await. I wish I could say to someone who has never heard of Jesus that things will be OK for them. That's not possible. They are headed for the fire.

This is the very reason we post online and campaign so hard outside Planned Parenthood imploring people - anyone out there at all - to come and be saved.

Bad enough for the rapscallion landing in a lake of fire—Jesus Christ's idea not mine—imagine if he was on The Ayahuasca Trip for his death experience? Ew. The sky was jagged elvenkind in every iridescent hue. The ground itself was serpents, the very air a swamp of leering faces. His innards were electric, the glands humming drop-dead gorgeous harmonies, the organs overclocking like crazy. Drop-dead, the salient adjective here becomes a verb, our shaman lands in the lake of fire in this wretched condition can you even imagine?

"Death is too good for them," a sassy indictment of loons on social media, gets wings here: death too good, sir or madam? The management has an alternative plan for all our more enthusiastic clients: molten brimstone with everlasting cloying smoke on ayahuasca: enhanced agitation assured. It's so important to bring The Gospel Message to jungle dwellers and one way to achieve this is by removing the jungle. Although an expensive undertaking, it can be achieved without blanket destruction by collecting and sorting the trees and value adding. Mahogany furniture gets a good return, especially bespoke handmade items from skilled carpenters and joiners, in line with Christ's own profession.

And especially at this time of year, durable furnishings and funds for Bibles to jungle shamans go hand in hand as we remember the baby who had to be born so that it could be killed to set us free forever.

                              What shaman can say that?
