As we are currently discussing Why Atheists are so miserable, I have decided to start this new thread - to continue my '101 Reasons' Series with '101 reasons why Atheists are WRONG'.

Reason No. 2 - Evil-ution from Monkeys!

If we really evolved from monkeys, why do monkeys STILL exist? Surely they would've evolved too? And why don't we have tails or swing from trees or speak in monkey-talk? These atheists must be pretty deluded to believe such nonsense!

You don't understand evolution. When the continents split and slowly drifted apart, there were species on each continent. Over millions of years, some evolved and others didn't due to geographic and climactic reasons, not to mention due to the difference in predators.

This theory is proven when one looks at the animals in New Zealand. They are found nowhere else, although they are related to animals on other continents, over the millenias their dna has slowly evolved to suit their climate. That is also why the animals in Australia can be found no where else. Both Australia and New Zealand have been separated for so long, in a different climate to most of the rest of the world, that the animals in those places have evolved to seem like copletely different species.

In reality, they still share dna with species on other continents.

This theory is also proven in the recent findings of a mammal that was fossilized around 47 million years ago. It existed in a time before the ape family and the lemur family parted ways, thus it held traits of both species. It is proof that evolution has been happening for millions of years.

I have watched it, and it didn't change my life. Because I have a Christian friend, and she has told me all about her belief. She took me to an introductory concert type thing where we were all introduced to the bible. I used to be Christian myself until I really started questioning things, and I soon came to the conclusion that there is technically no concrete right or wrong, thus the concept of God is irrelevant.

Also, the paradox surrounding the existence of God is an interesting one. Can God create something more powerful than he? He should be able to, because he is God and can do anything as it is his universe.
But if he can create anything more powerful than himself, he would not be God because God is all powerful.


I don't like that video because it is attempting to scare people into following God, when I believe people should come to it honestly. If people aren't going to ever accept Jesus Christ as their savior, there's no point condemning them because like you say, if you are correct, then non-believers will be punished forever.


Pastor Ezekiel, I'm not here to offend you or condemn you for your beliefs. But I have spent a lot of time with Christians on and off line, and all of them have been willing to debate over, and defend their beliefs. It shocks me that people here refuse to. That wouldn't matter and I would normally leave you alone, but some of the things claimed on this website offend me deeply. Thus I would be going against what I believe if I didn't stand up for them.
