Considering the above 26 posts I am now concerned. Who currently owns Miss Gálvez?

Her father is a Jehovah's Witness i.e. he is a demoniac.

Is Miss Gálvez still his property?

If not, who decides what she will do (and according to God's Law should kill her if she does not comply with his decision)?

1) Whom she marries has nothing to do with what she herself might "think" or "fancy"

2) The Bible is VERY CLEAR AND EXPLICIT on such matters. Miss Gálvez is worth somewhere between 100 shekels and 50 shekels (a few hundred dollars max.) e.g. Deuteronomy 22:19 depending on her condition, just as any woman is. Who gets compensated in the event that some future husband hates her? (Justly hates her I mean, otherwise the husband would incur the penalty.)

3) Is the demoniac father entitled to give her away (or sell her) to anyone?

I understand that she is seeking baptism. I am concerned that any advice I might offer should be Biblically sound. Her opinions are not sound at all, and DIRECTLY CONTRADICT God's clear Commandments. I can read those Commandments in The Bible. So can she.

Either she has not read them, or she has read them, but has rejected them. It is a wife's place to obey AND BE AFRAID OF her husband. Miss Gálvez seems to think that she should choose whom she marries. I very much doubt that she would "choose" a man she was frightened of!

Any advice from the Pastoral team would be very welcome. It would be such a tragedy if Miss Gálvez returned to her own vomit (the heretical ways of her family) or was deceived into thinking that she had any authority over her own life (where such an "opinion" differed from what God has communicated to us, in The Bible).

First of all, it is fantastic to see that you are discussing this with The Pastors. They will be able to instruct you with sound teaching. I do not offer opinions or teaching, but am able to post scripture from time to time and it is always clear what God is telling us.

I CORINTHIANS 14

Now I am aware that you do not have a husband. God tells us that YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK IN CHURCH. That would explain a lot!).

The Bible tells us that when a woman is raped, HER FATHER is OUT OF POCKET to the tune of 50 shekels (weight) of silver.

NOTE: that means that the value is inflation proof because it is linked
to the price of silver, rather than being given as some monetary value
as the respected Mr. C.O.M. pointed out.

God's word is clear, but in your case I probably need to dumb it down a bit.

1 - virgin daughter value = 50 shekels Ag
2 - rape activity takes place
3 - daughter now worth 0 shekels
4 - probably too big a number, I'd better start from 1 again

1 - therefore the father gets 50 shekels Ag (compensation)

Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

No mention of any woman.

This help meet for Adam was intended to be an animal

Adam checked out all the animals, gave them their names - but sadly none of them were quite suitable as an help meet for him, however useful they may have been in their way (e.g. for pulling carts or something) and God had to come up with an alternative.

What would God do? His FIRST CHOICE for an help meet for Adam didn't work out — and before any atheists or wiccans or EMO clown (= Satan) worshippers get onto their usual theme of "so your God doesn't know what He's doing" I will point out that God knows EXACTLY what he is doing, and this historical account records for us just how much God cares for His creation (which at this stage didn't include any women). God wanted Adam to be happy with his help meet. He didn't just plonk down a hippopotamus and say

OK ADAM HERE'S YOUR HELPER

but presented every animal and every bird for Adam's evaluation. That's how wonderful our God - the only God - really is!

And of course God did do something (although very much a "PLAN B").

Just as with the animals - The Bible presents God's first priority as getting the animals named and seeing if there was a suitable help meet for Adam among them - Adam named this new thing.

It is easy for us to say now, with the benefit of hindsight, that Adam would probably have been better off with the hippopotamus, given how things turned out in Chapter 3 but God is not some sort of deranged autocrat handing down arbitrary resolutions such as animal names or which one was best for Adam. God's creation was PERFECT. Thanks to woman, our understanding is now corrupted (except for Christian men whom God has told us are perfect anew - women now have to be told what do do, and will go to Hell FOREVER unless we bear our husband's children).

So did God ever intend to create us? I don't know. But woman was not God's first choice as a companion animal for Man.

The Bible is very clear about slaves. Men can sell their daughters whenever they feel like it - and God explains how to go about that. There are threads on these subjects, so I won't post the scripture here. But I'm not sure whether we are worth as much as a sheep?

There are very few activities that we can engage in that would not result in our being killed if God's Law were to be followed. Sadly we live in a sex obsessed heathen world where Satan manipulates peoples "feelings" and gets laws passed that come straight from - and lead directly to - Hell.

But God is PERFECT - He knows what His plan is and has commanded that we do follow secular laws in the countries where we live. Naturally we do what He commands.

No-one has to accept what The Bible says (although The Bible tells us that they deserve to be killed if they don't). But God's message is clear. The Bible is not 50% true, or 87·5% true or even 99% true. The Bible is 100% TRUE. It is The Word of God, and to reject any part of it is to reject God. Christiands do NOT reject God, even though we don't know what His plan is, especially if we are women. That is not me saying that. It is God.
