I am in complete agreement with you regarding this...that indeed would not please the Lord.

However, I do not joke around AT ALL about the Lord and the Holy Spirit of the Lord has taught me much and I know that "Dancing" in and of itself is NOT A SIN. This post was opened with that very statement, without further explaining.

"MOTIVATION" of a person's heart is a key factor in the choices that a person makes and whether or not these motivations will please or displease the Lord is only for the Lord to decide and no one else.

However, although off topic....the Lord would be more displeased with someone who was stealing money like Madoff, then say a person stole food for their starving children. The Lord would not like us to work on the Sabbath, however doing work that help's someone would not be an offence.
