The so called generosity in second hand markets is actually generosity with other people's time and money, as vast help from "friends" is usually required to transport the goods in a far from optimal way. Add to this the uncertainty factor in the needed amount of work - that helpful friend can never expect to know how much time he need to allocate.

Whilst I find the idea of second hand clothes unappealing to say the least, filling one's home with fine antique furniture is a trait that demonstrates class and distinction.

My dear Elizabeth is particularly averse to plasticky, modern items of furniture, and I agree with her entirely. When I go furniture shopping, I always take Mary the Medium along with me, so that she may relay Elizabeth's thoughts on the items that I view.

So-called "second hand items" are chock-full of demons, and so-called "mediums" are actually demons.

Well, the report by the U.S. Department of Family Values have debunked the environmental benefits of second hand markets, primary reason is inefficient transportation. Normal shops have the goods delivered by professional drivers in a very efficient way, while second hand markets rely on helpful "friends" who are expected to transport random amounts of stuff around in ordinary cars. Those non-professional drivers have lesser skills in optimizing the delivery, and do therefor clog the roads in rush hours.

Sister Daisy sweetly and kindly reminded me of the dangers of purchasing items from thrift stores. While I usually do not recycle old threads, preferring to allow the Holy Ghost to lead people to such information, I felt when so many seem to be struggling, there must be an upsurge in second-hand sales.


That is, until Donald (may his greatness ever be recognized) puts a stop to thrift-sales and makes everyone wealthy again. Prada, anyone? I saw an amazing pair of shades there last night for only $930 - and they came with a calves leather case. Fabulous.

I bought a second hand cross from a old lady the other day. I felt pretty happy with buying it as i am a collector for God's symbols. But i discovered some different shading on the bottom the cross but i didn't think to much of it to be honest. But this odd spot on the cross gave of a tinge smell. I returned to the lady's house to question why is this part of the cross so volatile. She responded with that her daughter had an exorcism and that she had proceeded to pleasure her self with God's almighty symbol. I could not believe the sinful words she had used. I need advice to see if i should call the local authorities or speak to my local church.

Call the police immediately and tell them of your concerns. Tell them that you are a Christian and that you believe you are being persecuted for your faith.

I currently attend the westboro church but i do advise that the pastor does get very angry with these sort of things which i think is a little bit unnecessary reaction in my opinion. I feel so sorry to hear about this. It is most disappointing that you had to experience a sin committed by such a foul member of heretic society. The fact alone that she had desecrated a holy symbol is most concerning. You may consider asking your local pastor to talk to her if she is willing, and possibly cleanse you and possibly the woman of the sin you have experienced.
