Re: How do I beat an atheist in argument.

There is no such thing as an atheist. All those claiming to be atheists are just in denial of their belief in God.

I point out to them something like:

"The only difference is I believe in one more god than you claim to believe in - THE god. And if that isn't the case and you really did come from a monkey you wouldn't be able to understand such logic anyway. So the fact you do or do not understand what I am saying proves that you do believe in God after-all, and if you deny this it will just prove my point won't it?"

That usually shuts them up, as they can't process the logical truth I speak. I count that as winning the argument.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Great point, but the guy's flawed metaphor did not mean to imply "stupidity". I'm sure he meant to type "ungrateful" instead of "stupid".

Computers are not programmed to "feel" gratitude. Humans are created with that ability already present and acting at variance with this fact indicates demonic occupation since demons do not express gratitude and computers are not possessing devils.

Hate to break it to you but you can't. They have good evidence and are right. Us Christians on the other hand only have a 2000 year old boom that was written by some random dudes. We all know deep down that god isn't real, but we continue to say we do because we are in denial and don't want to believe the wonders of science.

So, you are relying on others to support your beliefs? Or have you:

                - carbon dated () a dinosaur bone that you dug up?

                - walked on the moon ()?

                - witnessed evolution in action?

Oh wait, do you have FAITH in the work of others? Gee, we get lambasted when we do that.

Yours in Christ (NOT POOPY-PANTS HAWKING),

I'm sorry to see you write your own ticket to HELL, dear (Mark 3:28-29). Perhaps you could have come around to the Truth© if you had kept an open mind, but instead you have damned yourself, your children, your children's children, and your children's children's children to eternal torment by everlasting Fire (Numbers 14:18; Revelation 20:15).

HOW DO I BEAT AN ATHEIST IN ARGUMENT?

Well, that's funny. Because I've never seen an atheist win an argument yet

They have no evidence for their belief system and are always wrong. What evidence they do have actually supports The Bible but they misrepresent everything and apply the most extreme of double standards with so strong a confirmation bias as to reject any data showing them to be wrong. I call that dishonesty.

They have good evidence and are right.

It is the secular atheist who is in denial. Denial of Sin and of the miracle of Salvation. Denial of efficacious blood letting upon the stubborn sod to change their "cosmos" forever, the Blood of Christ. Denial of Jesus and the power of prayer. Denial of Eve, failing to see the necessity for Jesus' virgin birth, dismissing resurrection and the witness in Matthew of saints revivified, chortling at The Ascension, entwined in love's embrace with every demon of deception, deluded and damned forever.

We all know deep down that god isn't real, but we continue to say we do because we are in denial and don't want to believe the wonders of science.

Re: How do I beat an atheist in argument.

As a former Christ-hater, I can honestly attest to the validity of John 14:21. Atheistic logic can be defeated with steadfast faith. Most miracles are anecdotal, but some such as incorruptiblity are scientifically impossible. Incorruptibility is the phenomenon in which a body does not decompose without embalming even in the most favourable circumstances.

John 14:21 "He that hath My commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me; and he that loveth Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him.”
Revelation 19:15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."

It is also important to remember that atheists can be cunning linguists...if an atheist starts getting the better of you in a debate, and trys to make you feel stupid, don't hesitate to resort to physical violence when words fail you. How do I beat an atheist in an arguement? With a baseball bat!
