Since when do women have to be in the mood? Servicing her husband is the duty of a good Christian wife, along with breeding soldiers, cooking, cleaning and voting the way her husband tells her to.

Since we're not Christian, none of those "duties" apply. We make love when we're both in the mood, we neither have nor want any children, we share cooking nd cleaning chores, and we each vote the way we think is best - sometimes we vote the same, sometimes not.

Of course, I'm not heartless. A husband should always consider his wife's feelings. The point you're missing here is that he was married to her. It's not like he jumped out of the bushes at her. A wife has a responsibility to perform certain duties for her husband. Her obligations have nothing to do with her age.
